Job summary

PwC Acceleration Center India in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Front End Developer to join our technology consulting practice. You will work on enterprise web applications across advisory, assurance, tax and business services, building scalable UIs, collaborating with global teams, and delivering value for clients.

You will translate designs, implement real‑time features using WebSockets, integrate with REST/GraphQL, and contribute to frontend architecture in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years frontend experience in enterprise web apps.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS3.
• Experience with a modern frontend framework (React/Angular/Vue) and state management.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and Git version control.
• English proficiency and good problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

As a Front End Developer - Experienced Associate, you will engage in consulting services for a variety of business applications, helping clients optimize operational efficiency. You will analyze client needs, implement software solutions, and provide training and support for seamless integration and utilization of business applications, enabling clients to achieve their strategic objectives. As an Associate, you will focus on learning and contributing to client engagement and projects while developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work. Responsibilities

Understanding of Gen AI, Agentic AI and conversational AI experiences across voice and digital channels, including chatbots, voice bots, and multi‑modal agents

• Understanding of CCaaS platform capabilities and how AI solutions integrate into IVR, routing, and agent workflows
• Develop, test, and maintain responsive web applications for agent desktop, supervisor dashboards, and admin consoles within the CCaaS platform
• Implement real‑time UI updates for call/chat status, queue metrics, and agent presence using WebSockets or similar technologies
• Translate UX/UI designs (Figma/Sketch) into pixel‑accurate, accessible, cross‑browser compatible components
• Integrate frontend applications with REST/GraphQL APIs and backend telephony/CTI services
• Collaborate with backend, QA, and product teams in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Write clean, reusable, well‑documented, and testable code (unit/integration tests)
• Optimize application performance for low‑latency, high‑concurrency contact center environments
• Debug and resolve production issues, including those related to real‑time voice/chat interaction statesParticipate in code reviews and contribute to frontend architecture decisions
• Stay current with CCaaS industry trends (omnichannel, WebRTC, CTI integrations)
• Collaborate closely with architects, conversation designers, developers, and product owners to deliver production‑grade AI solutions

Requirements

Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Experience with a modern frontend framework: React.js (preferred), Angular, or Vue.js to build responsive and dynamic web applications including performance optimization and advanced patterns (hooks, memorization, code‑splitting) Familiarity with state management (Redux, Context API, Zustand, etc.)
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous data handling
• Experience with version control (Git)
• Basic understanding of responsive design and cross‑browser compatibility
• Good problem‑solving and debugging skills
• Designing and prototyping user interfaces with a focus on usability and accessibility, utilizing Figma and HTML5
• Proficiency in software development using Python, JavaScript, Java, or similar programming languages
• Strong experience in REST API integration, authentication mechanisms, and cloud‑based services
• Experience with vector databases, embeddings, and knowledge base design for retrieval workflows
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Experience with charting/data visualization libraries (Chart.js, D3.js, Recharts)
• Hands‑on experience with unit/integration testing (Jest, React Testing Library) and a strong testing mindset
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Solid understanding of responsive design, cross‑browser compatibility, and web performance optimization

Methodologies & Tools:

• Experience working in SAFE Agile / Agile / Scrum development environments
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, LLMOps practices, and cloud‑native development is a plus

Preferred / Good‑to‑Have Skills

• Working knowledge of WebRTC, SIP, or real‑time communication protocols
• Experience with WebSockets, Socket.io, or other real‑time/event‑driven architectures at scale
• Familiarity with CTI (Computer Telephony Integration) concepts and telephony data models
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and experience implementing them in production
• Experience with micro‑frontend architecture or monorepo setups (Nx, Turborepo)
• Exposure to performance monitoring/observability tools (Datadog, New Relic, Sentry)

What You Must Have

• B. Engg./ B. Tech., M. Engg./ M. Tech. from a premier Technical/ Engineering School
• At least 2 - 5 years of experience
• Oral and written proficiency in English required
