Job summary

Osmos is seeking a highly motivated Frontend Engineer to design, develop, and maintain the user-facing aspects of our AI-powered retail platform. You will work closely with the development team to implement modules and add-ons, and ensure high-quality, performant code.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of experience building products, strong React knowledge, and the ability to own features from requirements through release. Familiarity with debugging and Chrome DevTools is a plus.

Your Impact:

We are seeking a highly motivated Frontend Engineer to join our team. You will work closely with our development team to design, develop, and maintain the user-facing aspects of our web application.

What You'll Do:

Code-level customization of modules & add-ons as per the project requirements.

Interact & report to a concerned person to gather requirements, review & analyze project requirements.

Communicate the status of the project tasks regularly to the project manager

Take sole ownership of the product and keep an eye out for bugs

Keep track of own tasks and time spent on individual project tasks, provide guidance & advice on best technology approach

Follow guidelines for quality delivery, project documentation, code management, etc

Help & coordinate with peers on common tasks and objectives.

Learn and implement new technologies; Help other team members

You'll Thrive If You Have:

At least 2 years of experience in building and shipping products that people use

Strong understanding of web development best practices

Knowledge of React JS framework

Ability to write clean, maintainable code that others can work on

Ability to own end to end responsibility - right from the requirement, to release

Good architectural and design skills

Strong problem-solving skills

Ability to work well in a team environment

Strong attention to detail

Proficiency at debugging, including identifying page speed and performance bottlenecks, using tools like Chrome Dev tools, React Dev tools, etc.

A portfolio of previous work is a plus
