Responsibilities

• Translate documents from French to English and vice versa.
• Interpret between French-speaking patients and English-speaking providers in a medical setting.
• Ensure accuracy and clarity in all translations and interpretations.
• Work independently and manage time effectively while working remotely.

Qualifications and Skills

• Fluency in French (C1 & B2) and English.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in both languages.
• Experience with French interpretation in a professional setting.
• Minimum fresher or more years of relevant work experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interactions.
• Proficiency in translation software and tools is a plus.
• Legal ability to work in India (Indian nationality or OCI / Work Permit).

Roles of Medical Interpreters

The Medical Interpreter serves as a cultural and linguistic resource to both patients and providers by facilitating the successful delivery of patient care services to a linguistically diverse population. In this role, the interpreter participates as a neutral party or as the conduit for information that must flow between Carle staff, Limited English Proficiency (LEP) patients, and/or their care providers.
