Job summary

Outpost Vfx in Mumbai, India, is seeking a freelance compositor to deliver world class shots by blending live action and CG under the guidance of the VFX Supervisor.

You will work with the 2D team on high-end film and TV projects, focusing on Nuke compositing, color and lighting, and collaborating across departments to meet tight deadlines with a proactive, team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Strong ability in all aspects of compositing in Nuke, integrating live action and CG elements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ongoing communication with Production and Leads regarding schedules and deadlines.
• Take responsibility for workload, time management and feedback notes.

As a freelance compositor, you will be working alongside other members of the 2D team and will be responsible for delivering world class level shots, combining live action and cg elements, matching the vision and creative direction of the Visual Effects Supervisor throughout various high-end film and tv projects.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Working in collaboration with the 2D Supervisor and Visual Effects Supervisor to evaluate the creative and technical approach to assigned shots
• Taking briefs and direction from Leads and VFX Supervisors to execute assigned shots in the best and most efficient way possible.
• Balancing the creative and technical aspects of the assigned shots
• Ongoing communication with Production and Leads regarding schedules and deadlines
• Taking responsibility for own workload, time management and notes/feedback
• Meeting schedules and show deadlines Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Strong ability in all aspects of compositing in Nuke, integrating 2D, 3D and live-action elements to a high-end visual effects standard
• Strong eye for detail, composition, understanding of color and lighting

Desirable Skills:
