This role is within the Legal and Compliance Technology department, which delivers and supports the critical applications that help legal and compliance teams operate efficiently, manage risk, and meet regulatory obligations. The team works closely with business stakeholders, technology professionals, and compliance specialists to maintain and enhance solutions supporting trade compliance, Know Your Customer and Know Your Distributor (KYC and KYD), agreement management, legal document management, contract lifecycle management, and global regulatory compliance. Team members gain exposure to business-critical processes, regulatory technologies, and cross-functional collaboration in a highly impactful environment.
As an Associate Software Engineer, you will administer and support legal and compliance applications, configure, test, and maintain enterprise platforms, and manage data, integrations, and batch processing activities. You will support access management and user administration, troubleshoot and resolve application issues, assist with release management activities, and support regulatory and compliance technology platforms across the organization.
On the functional side, you will analyze legal and compliance business processes, document business and functional requirements, and translate those requirements into application enhancements. You will support workflow optimization and automation and help ensure audit and regulatory readiness. You will collaborate with business users and technology teams, work alongside developers and Quality Assurance teams, and provide documentation, support, and status updates to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
You will also complete role-based training programs and build expertise in legal, compliance, and technology domains, positioning yourself for long-term growth within the organization. A first mentality is essential to this position, and hands-on experience with AI productivity tools including ChatGPT, Codex, Claude, and Copilot is expected as part of daily work.
The work shift timings for this role are 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST.
