Job summary

Search Advisers Services Guj is seeking an experienced FPGA Digital Control Engineer to join the Power Electronics and Firmware team in India. You will understand, optimize, and enhance FPGA-based control systems for UPS products, including inverter, PFC, and battery charger controls.

Strong C/C++ skills and ARM-FPGA integration are required. You will work closely with control engineers to deploy algorithms in FPGA, review HDL code, and perform cross-domain debugging across FPGA, ARM, and power

Qualifications

• Experience designing FPGA-based control systems for high-performance UPS or power electronics.
• Proficiency in fixed-point arithmetic and Q-format representations.
• Strong HDL skills (VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog) and FPGA integration with ARM controllers.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize FPGA implementations for inverter, PFC, charger, and protection controls.
• Deploy and optimize control algorithms in FPGA in collaboration with control engineers.
• Review, debug, and optimize HDL code generated by MATLAB HDL Coder.
• Support FPGA-ARM integration and embedded software components in C/C++.
• Perform system-level debugging across FPGA, ARM controller, and power stages.
• Validate FPGA behavior against MATLAB models and participate in platform architecture reviews.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced FPGA Digital Control Engineer to join our Power Electronics and Firmware team. The candidate will be responsible for understanding, maintaining, optimizing, and enhancing FPGA-based implementations of inverter, charger, and PFC control systems used in high-performance UPS products.The role requires strong expertise in FPGA development, MATLAB/Simulink HDL code generation, fixed-point implementation, and ARM-FPGA integration. The candidate should also possess strong C/C++ programming skills to support embedded controller integration, system debugging, and algorithm validation activities.
