PwC Service Delivery Center is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead a growing Business Partnering team in the Finance function. You will manage Senior Associates, drive performance, and partner with LoS leadership to deliver high-quality FP&A support and financial insights.

The role requires 5+ years of management experience, strong KPIs, and a proven ability to scale teams while maintaining control standards and governance. The shift is 2pm-11pm and based in Kolkata, India.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and develop a team, ensuring high performance, engagement, and retention.
  • Set clear objectives and expectations aligned to business priorities.
  • Implement robust performance management frameworks, including planning, goal setting, coaching and assessment.
  • Manage regular reviews, feedback, and development plans.
  • Coach and mentor team members to build capability in financial analysis, business partnering, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Identify and effectively manage poor performance ensuring appropriate steps.
  • Manage resourcing across the teams such as work allocation, and succession planning.
  • Drive a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the delivery of all finance outputs (reporting, forecasting, analysis).
  • Establish and maintain KPIs and performance metrics to track team output and service effectiveness.
  • Monitor delivery against SLAs and KPIs, identifying and addressing performance gaps.
  • Ensure standardisation of processes and outputs across the team.
  • Act as escalation point for issues, risks, or delivery challenges.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to LoS leadership, building strong relationships.
  • Engage regularly with stakeholders to understand business priorities and requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement across service delivery, seek efficiency, standardisation and automation.

At PwC, the Finance function plays a critical role in supporting strategic decision-making and enabling business performance across the firm. The team partners closely with business leadership to provide insight, challenge, and direction on financial performance, resourcing, and planning. This role sits within the Finance Business Partnering team, working across UK Line of Service (LoS) leadership groups in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate must have genuine Business Partnering experience—not a background limited to managing outsourced FP&Ateams delivering predefined reports far removed from the business. As the function scales,this individual needsto deeply understand what great Business Partnering looks like to drive performance and develop future Business Partnering Managers from within the team. The primary focus of this Managerrole istoleadand manageagrowingteamof Senior Associates(currently 9, scaling up to 20)to deliver high-qualityBusiness Partnering support to theirstakeholders, ensuring strong operational performance, consistency, and continuous improvement across Business Partnering activities. Candidates should have hands-on Business Partnering experience, rather than those whose background is rooted in running outsourced FP&Aoperations with limited business interaction. As the team grows this role requires someone who can set the standard forBusiness Partnering excellence and develop Senior Associates. This role is suited to someone who:

This is a leadership-led role, where success is defined by the ability to manage people, drive performance standards, and ensure consistent, high-quality delivery of finance services, rather than direct ownership of individual outputs. The manageron this teamis responsible forleading a team of SAs, therefore will have the following responsibilities.
