Job summary

RackBank Datacenters Private Ltd. in Indore seeks a Chartered Accountant with ~5 years of FP&A experience to join the finance team as FP&A Manager. You will report to the CFO, support fundraising, track capex across data centre projects, and run budgeting and monthly MIS processes.

The role involves regular exposure to senior leadership, investors and lenders. You will prepare financial models, maintain data room sections for due diligence, and provide lender MIS and compliance reporting.

Qualifications

• CA with around five years of experience, at least three in FP&A, business finance or financial planning.
• Membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India is mandatory.
• Strong financial modelling skills and advanced Excel, with ability to build models from scratch.
• Hands-on budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and monthly MIS.
• Good working knowledge of Ind AS, capex accounting, GST and TDS.
• Experience with an ERP system such as SAP, Oracle, Zoho Books or Tally Prime.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Head of Fundraising to prepare financial models, projections and business plans for investors and lenders.
• Maintain financial sections of the data room and respond to due diligence queries from investors, banks and advisors.
• Prepare lender MIS and covenant calculations (DSCR and leverage) and periodic compliance reports.
• Support investor presentations and information memoranda with accurate and reconciled numbers.
• Build and track capex budgets for data centre phases and GPU deployments at Indore and Raipur, monitor cost per MW and flag overruns or savings.
• Lead annual budgeting with department heads and deliver monthly MIS with variance analysis and management commentary.
• Provide budgeting inputs for board meetings and ensure numbers reconcile with the books.

RackBank Datacenters is one of India\'s growing AI infrastructure companies. We design, build and operate high density data centres for GPU workloads, with campuses in Indore, Raipur and Mumbai, and we use our own liquid immersion cooling technology, Varuna. Our sister business, NeevCloud, runs an AI cloud platform on this infrastructure and gives India\'s enterprises and startups access to GPU computing on demand.

The group is headquartered in Indore and is in a phase of rapid expansion. Financial planning sits at the centre of how we decide what to build, when to build it and how to fund it.

Job Title: FP&A Manager

Location: Indore, with occasional travel to our Raipur campus

Role Overview:

We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant to join our Finance team in Indore as FP&A Manager. Reporting to the CFO, you will support the company's fundraising activity, track and analyse capital expenditure across our data centre projects, and run the budgeting and monthly MIS process. This is a hands on role with regular exposure to senior leadership, investors and lenders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Head of Fundraising to prepare financial models, projections and business plans for investors and lenders.
• Prepare and maintain the financial sections of the data room, and respond to due diligence queries from investors, banks and their advisors.
• Prepare lender MIS, covenant calculations such as DSCR and leverage ratios, and periodic compliance reports.
• Support investor presentations and information memoranda with accurate and reconciled numbers.

Capex and Unit Economics (35%)

• Build and track capex budgets for each data centre phase and GPU deployment at Indore and Raipur, comparing committed, spent and capitalised amounts.
• Monitor project cost per MW and flag overruns or savings to the CFO and project teams in good time.
• Analyse profitability by site, product and customer, including revenue per rack and per GPU, cost to serve and payback periods.
• Review the commercials of large colocation and GPU cloud contracts, including reserved capacity and take or pay arrangements, before they are signed.

Budgeting and MIS (30%)

• Lead the annual budgeting process with department heads, covering revenue, operating costs, headcount and capex.
• Deliver the monthly MIS pack with variance analysis against budget and forecast, along with clear commentary for management.
• Prepare financial inputs for board meetings and leadership reviews, and work with the Accounts team to keep management numbers reconciled with the books.

Preferred Candidates:

The ideal candidate will be a qualified Chartered Accountant with around five years of experience, of which at least three should be in FP&A, business finance or financial planning. You will also bring:

• Membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. This is a mandatory requirement.
• Strong financial modelling skills and advanced Excel, with the ability to build models from scratch.
• Hands on experience of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and monthly MIS.
• Good working knowledge of Ind AS, capex accounting, depreciation, GST and TDS.
• Experience with an ERP system such as SAP, Oracle, Zoho Books or Tally Prime.
• Clear communication and the confidence to present numbers to senior management.
• Experience in data centres, telecom, cloud, power, renewables, infrastructure or manufacturing will be an advantage, as will exposure to fundraising, due diligence or lender reporting. Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
