The ideal candidate will combine strong financial analysis and modeling capabilities with operational understanding, curiosity and the ability to translate complex cost data into clear insights, recommendations and management-ready presentations for senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and management reporting for COGS, manufacturing costs, supply-chain expenses, inventory and related gross-margin drivers.
  • Analyze product cost, logistics, freight, customs, duties, warehouse, handling and import/export costs; separate structural cost trends from one-time operational noise.
  • Support inventory valuation visibility, excess and obsolete monitoring, write-off analysis, deferred cost tracking and cost-recognition alignment with revenue events.
  • Partner closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Accounting, Commercial, Deal Desk, Direct Margin COE and regional business partners to drive cost transparency, profitability improvement and business performance.
  • Provide current and reliable cost inputs for deal analysis, pricing support, revenue forecasts, AOP/PV cycles and strategic business decisions.
  • Prepare executive-ready dashboards, KPIs, variance bridges and management presentations covering COGS forecast accuracy.
  • Identify cost pressure, margin leakage, allocation issues and operational inefficiencies; translate findings into actionable recommendations and measurable cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Coordinate with Accounting on close activities, reconciliations, allocation issues and audit-ready support for material cost positions.
  • Drive automation, BI dashboards, process improvement and AI-enabled analytics to improve reporting accuracy, reduce manual work and strengthen decision readiness.
  • Strengthen financial controls, data quality, methodology consistency and governance across COGS, inventory, freight and supply-chain cost processes.
Requirements
Requirements
  • 10+ years of FP&A experience, preferably in a manufacturing, hardware, telecom, technology or supply-chain-intensive environment.
  • Strong analytical, financial modeling, variance analysis and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large and complex datasets.
  • Solid understanding of COGS, gross margin, supply-chain economics, freight and logistics cost drivers.
  • Advanced Excel and Office skills; experience with Power BI, Datarails and/or other BI, planning or reporting tools is highly preferred.
  • Experience leading automation, dashboarding, process-improvement or efficiency projects that improve accuracy, cycle time and management visibility.
  • Strong business partnering skills with the ability to work effectively with Operations, Supply Chain, Accounting, Commercial and senior finance stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain complex cost and profitability topics clearly to senior management.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines and deliver accurate outputs in a fast-paced global environment.
  • Advantage: hands-on experience managing inventory exposure, logistics costs, freight-related costs, write-offs, PPV, standard-cost updates or product profitability analysis.
Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented and business-minded finance professional who can connect financial data with operational reality. This person should be comfortable challenging assumptions, identifying cost and margin improvement opportunities, building trusted relationships with cross-functional teams and presenting clear recommendations to senior leadership.

Success Measures
  • Clear visibility into freight and supply-chain cost drivers.
  • Reliable and refreshed cost factors used in deal analysis, forecasting and AOP/PV cycles.
  • Management-ready dashboards and executive presentations delivered on time.
