Job summary

Maxx Solutions in India seeks a Financial Analyst Operations to support end-to-end financial planning, operational cost management, and inbound global supply chain analysis. The analyst will partner with Operations, Supply Chain and Procurement leadership to drive cost optimization, improve forecasting accuracy, and support strategic sourcing decisions in a fast-paced CPG environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and monthly forecasting for operations, manufacturing, supply chain, and logistics.
• Analyze and manage Cost of Goods Sold including materials, labor, overhead, freight, duties, and tariffs.
• Support S&OP processes with financial guidance on demand, supply, and inventory decisions.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Procurement, and Operations to drive manufacturing efficiency and sourcing strategies.
• Evaluate import-related costs including freight, duties, demurrage, and warehousing.
• Develop and maintain standard costing processes, variance analyses, and rate management.
• Build financial models for product costing, inventory, and supply chain scenarios.
• Develop KPIs and dashboards and deliver actionable insights.
• Collaborate across functions to improve processes and data visibility.

Role & responsibilities

The Financial Analyst Operations will support end-to-end financial planning, operational cost management, and inbound global supply chain analysis.

The analyst will act as a finance co-pilot to Operations, Supply Chain, and Procurement leadership, helping drive cost optimization, improve forecasting accuracy, and support strategic sourcing decisions in a fast-paced CPG environment.

• Support the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and monthly forecasting processes for operations, including manufacturing, supply chain, and logistics
• Analyze and manage Cost of Goods Sold including materials, labor, overhead, inbound freight, duties, tariffs, etc.
• Support the monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, challenging assumptions and providing financial guidance on demand, supply, and inventory decisions
• Partner with Supply Chain, Procurement, and Operations teams to drive optimization in manufacturing efficiency, sourcing strategies, and distribution networks
• Evaluate and track import-related costs, including ocean freight, duties, demurrage, detention, warehousing and other accessorial charges
• Develop and maintain standard costing processes, including updates, variance analysis, and rate management
• Build and enhance financial models including product costing, inventory, and supply chain scenarios
• Develop KPIs and dashboards and deliver actionable insights
• Partner cross-functionally to improve processes, enhance data visibility, and drive continuous improvement.

Preferred candidate profile

• Prior CPG/Manufacturing/Import & Export experience is a major plus.
• Demonstrated experience and ability in sophisticated financial modeling, analysis, and problem solving.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Open to work in Night Shift.
