Job summary

Civica seeks an FP&A Analyst to drive high‑quality financial insight, planning and decision support across the region. You will leverage forecasting, driver-based analysis and robust models to support strategic and operational choices.

Collaborate with Finance Business Partners and Commercial Finance to translate data into commercial narratives, while maintaining accuracy and delivering timely insights for the CFO and Executive team.

Qualifications

• Strong FP&A capability including forecasting, scenario planning, and driver-based modelling.
• Experience analyzing revenue, ARR, retention, margins, cash flow, and productivity metrics.
• Advanced financial modelling and Excel; experience with planning systems and BI tools advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain forecasts and scenarios for the region aligned to objectives.
• Perform driver-based analysis to explain performance, trends, and variances in key metrics.
• Produce narratives translating data into actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
• Drive forecast accuracy, transparency and consistency across the region.
• Standardise planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes with best practices.

The role will provide deep vertical insight by leveraging legacy knowledge, robust forecasting, and driver-based analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making.

Key responsibilities:

Financial Planning, Forecasting & Insight

• Develop and maintain forecasts and scenarios for the region, ensuring alignment to strategic objectives and regional priorities
• Perform driver-based analysis to explain performance, trends, and variances across revenue, ARR, retention, margin, cash, productivity, and operational KPIs
• Produce clear and compelling performance narratives that translate data into actionable insight for senior stakeholders
• Drive improved forecast accuracy, transparency, and consistency across the region
• Standardise planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, embedding best practice and continuous improvement

Business Partnering & Challenge

• Review, challenge, and enhance forecasts and assumptions produced by Finance Business Partners
• Act as a centre of excellence for FP&A, providing constructive challenge and independent insight
• Partner closely with Commercial Finance to translate financial and operational data into meaningful commercial narratives

Strategic Finance & Decision Support

• Support the CFO and Executive team with ad-hoc strategic analysis, rapid insight requests, and crisisdriven scenarios
• Build and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making, investment cases, and long-range planning
• Support post-acquisition performance tracking and integration insights where required

Apply If you have:

• Strong FP&A capability, including forecasting, scenario planning, and driver-based modelling
• Experience analysing revenue, ARR, retention, margins, cash flow, and productivity metrics
• Advanced financial modelling and Excel skills; experience with planning systems and BI tools is advantageous
• Strong understanding of financial statements and end-to-end business economics
• Ability to think strategically while remaining grounded in operational detail
• Experience supporting senior leaders with complex, time-sensitive decision-making
• Strong knowledge and understanding of local requirements within the region
• Comfortable working across geographies, cultures, and time zones
• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to manage competing priorities
