Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking an FP&A Analyst to provide analytical support to the Sensors business unit in commercial and product management finance. The role focuses on automated reporting, financial insights, and continuous improvement across budgeting and forecasting processes.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years in FP&A or related finance roles, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Power BI, SQL, and ERP systems. Excellent communication and stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
• 5–8 years of FP&A, Commercial Finance, Business Finance, or Financial Reporting experience.
• Exposure to commercial finance, pricing, inventory, and profitability analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical support to Sensing BU in Commercial and Product Management Finance.
• Drive automated reporting processes and continuous improvements with process control.
• Partner with Sales, Product Management, and BU Finance to provide financial insights.
• Monitor KPIs and support cost optimization and productivity initiatives.
• Prepare and analyze financial results and ad hoc financial analyses.

Job Overview

Provide analytical support to Sensors BU in the critical areas of Commercial and Product Management Finance. Drive automated tech enabled reporting processes, drive continuous improvements initiatives with process control areas and work closely with BU Finance teams

Job Requirements

Financial Reporting

• Prepare and publish daily weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports and dashboards.
• Analyze revenue, margins, and profitability trends.
• Perform variance analysis against Budget, Forecast, and Prior Year.
• Prepare Presentations for Month, Quarter, Year end.
• Support Price performance analysis.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting in accordance with company policies.
• Support month-end and quarter-end closing activities.
• Support Annual Operating Plan (AOP), quarterly forecasts, and monthly outlooks.
• Ad Hoc reports.

Commercial/ PM Finance

• Partner with Sales, Product Management, and Business Unit Finance to provide financial insights and decision support.
• Analyze pricing, profitability, customer margins, and product performance.
• Support commercial proposals, business cases, and investment evaluations.
• Monitor key financial and operational KPIs and recommend improvement actions.
• Assist in cost optimization and productivity initiatives.

Business Partnering

• Work closely with stakeholders across Finance, Sales, Product Management
• Prepare and analyse financial results
• Support ad hoc financial analysis for strategic initiatives.

Process Improvement

• Drive automation and standardization of reporting processes.
• Improve reporting accuracy and reduce manual effort using digital tools.
• Participate in finance transformation and continuous improvement projects.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
• 5–8 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Commercial Finance, Business Finance, or Financial Reporting.
• Exposure to commercial finance, pricing, inventory, and profitability analysis.
• Experience supporting global or regional business teams.
• Knowledge of Power BI, Power Query, SQL, or AI-enabled reporting tools is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Commercial acumen and business partnering mindset.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Continuous improvement and automation mindset.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
• SAP Any Other Leading ERP working knowledge
