Job summary

Maersk Fleet and Procurement India Private Limited is seeking a competent Fourth Engineer with seagoing experience to join our modern container vessels. The role offers training, challenging assignments and opportunities to expand knowledge aboard one of the world’s largest shipping companies.

You will be part of the engine department, ensuring watch-keeping, routine maintenance, and bunkering support. Emphasis on safety, teamwork, rest-hour compliance, and professional development is clear in

Qualifications

• Seatime of at least 6 months in rank on vessels with UMS and minimum 20000 BHP engine size.

Responsibilities

• Perform engine room watch-keeping duties when required
• Perform work routines in his/her area of responsibility and as directed by the Chief Engineer and/or Second Engineer
• Assist the Chief Engineer during bunkering operations
• Ensure that all machineries under his / her responsibility are well maintained for optimum performance and fuel consumption. Report any breakdown, failure or deviation to the Chief Engineer and Second Engineer
• Understand the importance of briefing and debriefing to ensure efficient teamwork.
• Ensure work and rest hour planning is done regularly and requirements are complied with. Bring any challenges in rest hour compliance to the attention of the Second Engineer and/or Chief Engineer

Maersk Fleet and Procurement India Private Limited, is looking for competent Fourth Engineer with relevant seagoing experience, willing to be trained, challenged and expand their knowledge onboard our technically advanced container vessels with the best and latest machinery.

A key position in the engine department onboard one of the world’s largest Container shipping company where seafarers are onboarded and equipped to perform and contribute to deliver the vessel commitments. Recruitment Criteria:
