Job summary

TherapyPod is building the software backbone for a five-clinic pilot in India. You’ll own safety features, consent tracking, and a robust test suite ensuring releases pass before going live in clinics. The stack includes Next.js, TypeScript, and Supabase (PostgreSQL).

You will work with the Clinical Safety Lead to translate clinician feedback into product changes, while ensuring privacy, data protection, and audit trails across Hindi and English case sets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-stack engineering with TypeScript.
• Production experience with Next.js or React and PostgreSQL.
• Strong SQL and data modeling; migrations and security considerations.

Responsibilities

• Build the pilot's safety features and consent records compliant with India’s data laws.
• Maintain a test suite that checks safety behavior across Hindi and English cases.
• Improve triage with per-clinic settings, thresholds, and audit trails.
• Keep production reliable: database security, data separation, WhatsApp delivery, and monitoring.
• Visit clinics, observe usage, and ship fixes within weeks.
• Write tests for safety-related behavior; failing tests block releases.
• Collaborate with Clinical Safety Lead to translate feedback into product changes.

Job description

Build the software behind our five-clinic pilot in India. You will work on patient consent and data protection, safety reporting for clinic staff, and the test suite that checks every change before it reaches a live clinic. The stack is Next.js, TypeScript, and Supabase (PostgreSQL).

What You\'ll Do

• Build the pilot's safety features: reports from clinician case reviews, a simple way for staff to flag conversations the AI missed, and consent records that meet India's data protection law.
• Maintain the test suite that checks safety behavior against curated Hindi and English cases before each release.
• Improve the triage system: per-clinic settings, threshold tuning with hard safety limits, and full audit trails.
• Keep production reliable: database security, separation of each clinic's data, WhatsApp message delivery, and monitoring.
• Visit pilot clinics, watch staff use the product, and ship fixes the same week.
• Write tests for safety-related behavior. A failing security or data-deletion test blocks the release.
• Work with the Clinical Safety Lead to turn clinician feedback into product changes.

Who You Are

• 5+ years of full-stack engineering with TypeScript. Production experience with Next.js or React and PostgreSQL.
• Strong SQL and data modeling. Comfortable with migrations, row-level security, and reporting queries.
• Have built products on large language models and know how to test them properly.
• Care about privacy, consent, and audit trails in healthcare software.
• Experience with Supabase, the WhatsApp Business API, Hindi-language products, or healthcare data is a plus.
