Job summary

ten8labs designs and deploys AI agents and automations inside client businesses from Gurugram, working with a senior FDE. You write production code, connect it to client systems, and stay until it works for users.

This engineering role focuses on shipping, deployment, and owning what you ship, collaborating with clients and internal teams to drive success across engagements.

Qualifications

• Degree in CS/engineering or related field, or equivalent proof you can build.
• Comfort with REST APIs, SQL, Git and at least one cloud (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Hands-on exposure to LLMs: you have built something with an LLM API, a RAG pipeline or an agent framework.
• Clear spoken and written English and Hindi, and the patience to explain technical things to non-technical people.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and work from their offices.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy AI/LLM applications and agents (RAG pipelines, structured outputs, tool use, prompts).
• Integrate with client systems (ERPs, CRMs, databases, spreadsheets, REST APIs, messaging like WhatsApp).
• Clean, map and move client data for system usability.
• Test, monitor end-to-end deployments and fix issues.
• Attend discovery sessions with the senior FDE; map client processes.
• Write runbooks and guides; train client users.
• Turn repeated work into reusable scripts and components.
• Report field observations to product/engineering teams.

You will build and deploy AI agents and automations inside our clients' businesses, working alongside a senior FDE. You write production code, connect it to the client's systems, and sit with the people who will use it until it works for them. This is an engineering role, not a support role: you ship, and you own what you ship.

What you'll do

• Build and deploy LLM applications and AI agents: RAG pipelines, structured outputs, tool use, prompt and context design
• Integrate them with client systems, including ERPs, CRMs, databases, spreadsheets, REST APIs and messaging channels such as WhatsApp
• Clean, map and move the client's data so the system can use it
• Test, monitor and debug deployments end to end, and fix what breaks
• Join discovery sessions and workshops with the senior FDE; capture how the client's process actually runs
• Write runbooks and short guides, and train the client's users
• Turn repeated work into reusable scripts, templates and components for the next engagement
• Report what you see in the field to the product and engineering team

What you need

• A degree in CS, engineering or a related field, or equivalent proof that you can build

How you'll grow

Forward Deployed Engineer → Senior FDE → Lead FDE or Solutions Architect → Engineering, product or practice leadership. Strong engineers can lead their own client engagement within 12–18 months.

You have shipped at least one component that a client uses in production

In 6 months

You run the day-to-day build on an engagement, with the senior FDE reviewing

In 12 months

Clients name you as a technical contact, and at least one asset you built is reused across engagements
