Invisel in Pune is seeking a Formulation Chemist to develop, test and improve home care cleaning product formulations, moving projects from lab trials to production-ready blends.

You will work with surfactants, acids and solvents, perform pH and viscosity testing, maintain records and support scale-up, contributing to our nanotech-based surface protection range.

Competenze

• BSc/MSc in Chemistry or related field.
• 2–3 years in formulation development.
• Experience in home care/cleaning products.
• Knowledge of surfactants, acids, alkalis and solvents.
• Ability to document testing and ensure quality control.
• Experience with pilot batches and production-scale formulation preferred.
• Good lab safety practices.

Qualifications We Need

• BSc / MSc in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science or a related field.
• 2-3 years of hands-on experience in formulation development, preferably in home care, household cleaning products, personal care or chemical manufacturing.
• Practical experience in developing and testing cleaning product formulations.
• Working knowledge of surfactants, acids, alkalis, solvents and other chemical ingredients.
• Understanding of laboratory testing, pH, viscosity, stability studies and quality control.
• Experience in product development, formulation improvement and troubleshooting.
• Exposure to pilot batches and production-scale formulation is preferred.
• Good documentation skills and knowledge of chemical safety practices.

Preferred Experience

Candidates who have worked on floor cleaners, glass cleaners, degreasers, stain removers, bathroom cleaners or other household cleaning products will be given preference.
