Job summary

VARITE INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a Foreclosure Specialist to join the Default Servicing team in Bengaluru. You will manage mortgage foreclosure activities for residential loans in default, ensuring compliance with investor guidelines and company policies.

The role requires 2+ years of US mortgage foreclosure experience and strong analytical and communication skills in a fast-paced environment. This onsite position offers exposure to cross-functional teams and regulatory compliance

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in US Mortgage Foreclosure.
• 2+ years of experience in mortgage default servicing, foreclosure, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of US mortgage regulations (e.g., FHA, VA, USDA, conventional).
• Familiarity with foreclosure laws and procedures in multiple states.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Experience with foreclosure software systems (Black Knight, LPS, MSP).

• Review and analyze loan files to determine foreclosure eligibility.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to initiate and progress foreclosure actions.
• Prepare and submit foreclosure referrals to external attorneys/trustees.
• Monitor foreclosure timelines, milestones, and deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Communicate with attorneys and other stakeholders regarding foreclosure proceedings.
• Review and verify foreclosure documents (notices, affidavits, deeds).
• Maintain accurate records in foreclosure software systems.
• Identify and elevate potential issues to management.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve foreclosure goals and objectives.
