Job summary

BMW TechWorks India Private Limited is seeking a senior mobile developer to build and maintain cross-platform applications using Flutter/Dart and React. You will deliver features across multiple apps, ensuring quality UX and seamless integration with backend services via REST/GraphQL.

The role emphasizes strong debugging, testing, and collaboration with senior developers, with additional focus on enabling efficient CI/CD pipelines and smooth deployments for iOS and Android platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of practical experience with Flutter and Dart.
• Strong understanding of mobile app development lifecycle.
• Experience with REST APIs and third-party integrations.
• Familiarity with state management solutions (Provider, Riverpod, or Bloc).
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

• Develops and maintains cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter/Dart and React.
• Delivers features across multiple mobile and web apps, integrating with backend APIs (GraphQL/REST).
• Ensures high-quality mobile UX, responsiveness, and platform-specific behaviour (iOS & Android).
• Actively participates in testing, debugging, deployment, and operational support.

Mandatory Skills (in order of importance):

• React (Hooks, Context API, functional components)
• Node.js (Express.js)
• State management (Riverpod, Bloc, or React Context)
• Unit, widget & UI testing (flutter_test, Jest, Playwright)

Advantageous Skills:

• MongoDB (Mongoose)
• Mobile platform knowledge (iOS & Android lifecycle, push notifications, permissions)
• Firebase (analytics, push notifications)
• Fastlane / Xcode / Android Studio (build & release pipelines)
• AWS Lambda (Node.js)
• BMW SCP.apps (Integrate) platform experience
• SonarQube

Must-Have Skills

• Practical experience with Flutter and Dart (5+ years).
• Good understanding of mobile app development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and third-party integrations.

Good to Have

• Basic knowledge of native Android (Java/Kotlin) or iOS (Swift/Objective-C).
