Job summary

Tata Elxsi in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced flight control systems engineer to develop, model, and verify flight control laws for aerospace and avionics projects.

You will derive system requirements, manage architecture and interfaces, and perform modeling, simulation, and gain tuning with industry-standard tools. Collaboration across teams will be essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters in Aerospace, Electrical, or related engineering.
• 3–5+ years in flight control systems development and verification.
• Strong experience in requirements, control law design, modeling, simulation, gain tuning, and system integration.
• Proficient with MATLAB/Simulink; SIL, HIL, and flight test data analysis.
• Familiar with DO-178C, ARP4754A, ARP4761; DOORS and MBSE preferred.

• 3-5+ years of experience in flight control systems development and verification.
• Strong experience in system requirements development, control law design, modeling, simulation, gain tuning, and system integration.
• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and other control system development tools.
• Hands-on experience with SIL, HIL, and flight test data analysis.
• Familiarity with aerospace development and certification standards such as DO-178C, ARP4754A, and ARP4761.
• Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS) and MBSE methodologies is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred

• Experience in aerospace and defense programs.
• Knowledge of autonomous/UAV/eVTOL flight control systems.
• Exposure to avionics cybersecurity and advanced flight control technologies.
