A.P. Moller Maersk is seeking a procurement professional in Mumbai with at least 2 years of experience in shipping/logistics.

The role involves end-to-end handling of demand to delivery for Maersk Line vessels, RFQ execution, and the Procure to Pay cycle to ensure timely payments and accurate invoicing. The candidate should possess strong communication and presentation skills, be comfortable with IT platforms, and support senior buyers with operational and data initiatives while driving

Qualifications

• 2+ years of procurement experience in shipping/logistics.
• Graduate degree (any field) acceptable.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsabilités

• End-to-end procurement for Maersk Line vessels with focus on Right Price / Right Place / Right Time / Right Quantity.
• Run RFQ process with non-contracted suppliers for optimal deliveries.
• Follow Procure to Pay process for timely payments and handle invoicing discrepancies.
• Support stakeholders with technical coordination and quick issue resolution.
• Familiar with IT platform/system operation to maximize tool output and ensure process compliance.
• Support Senior Buyers in improving operational performance of the team.
• Contribute inputs to category strategies and pursue skill development.
• Assist with implementing automation as part of the Digital Agenda.
• Assist Senior colleagues with Supplier Performance Management tasks.
• Coordinate with Master Data teams to improve back-end data quality.

You will be responsible to:

• Have an end-to-end responsibility, accountability and handling entire demand to delivery process for allocated set of Maersk Line vessels and ensure the 4R Principle - Right price, Right Place, Right Time and Right Quantity.
• Run the RFQ process with non-contracted suppliers for optimal deliveries.
• Follow Procure to Pay process (PTP) for timely payments to all vendors and handle invoices with discrepancies.
• Support Stakeholders with technical organizations through daily interactions and addressing their concerns in a timely manner. Must have the sense of urgency to address all pressing matters with key stakeholders.
• To be familiar with IT platform / system operation with good knowledge to gain maximum output of offered tools and ensure Process compliance.
• Support Senior Buyers in driving the operational Performance of the Team
• Share inputs towards assigned team Initiatives around Category Strategies. Should be keen on learning and acquiring right skill set.
• Support with implementing automation as part of the Digital Agenda.
• Support Senior colleagues with Supplier Performance Management tasks.
• Share inputs with Master data teams to optimize back-end data quality.
• Assist Senior colleagues with the transactional support around Team initiatives drives.
• Always follow the Maersk s carbon neutral initiative to minimize the carbon emission in our supply chains.

• Qualification - Any Graduate
• Atleast 2 years of experience in procurement in Shipping Logistics industry.
• Should have good communication and presentation skills.
