Job summary

Maersk, a global leader in integrated logistics, is hiring in Maharashtra, India. The role covers end-to-end procurement for Maersk Line vessels, RFQ execution, PTP processes, and continuous improvement through digital automation.

Qualifications

• Any Graduate with at least 2 years in procurement in shipping & logistics.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of procurement processes in RFQ/PTP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end responsibility for demand to delivery for Maersk Line vessels with 4R principle.
• Run RFQ process with non-contracted suppliers for optimal deliveries.
• Follow Procure to Pay process for timely vendor payments and handle invoice discrepancies.
• Support stakeholders through daily interactions and address concerns timely.
• Demonstrate urgency in addressing pressing matters with key stakeholders.
• Familiarity with IT platforms to maximize tool outputs and ensure compliance.
• Support Senior Buyers in driving operational performance and category initiatives.
• Be keen to learn and acquire the right skill set.
• Support automation as part of the Digital Agenda.
• Assist Senior colleagues with Supplier Performance Management tasks.
• Share inputs with Master Data teams to improve data quality.
• Provide transactional support around team initiatives and drives.
• Follow Maersk’s carbon-neutral initiative to minimize carbon emissions.

You will be responsible to:

• Have an end-to-end responsibility, accountability and handling entire demand to delivery process for allocated set of Maersk Line vessels and ensure the 4R Principle – Right price, Right Place, Right Time and Right Quantity.
• Run the RFQ process with non-contracted suppliers for optimal deliveries.
• Follow Procure to Pay process (PTP) for timely payments to all vendors and handle invoices with discrepancies.
• Support Stakeholders with technical organizations through daily interactions and addressing their concerns in a timely manner.
• Must have the sense of urgency to address all pressing matters with key stakeholders.
• To be familiar with IT platform / system operation with good knowledge to gain maximum output of offered tools and ensure Process compliance.
• Support Senior Buyers in driving the operational Performance of the Team Share inputs towards assigned team Initiatives around Category Strategies.
• Should be keen on learning and acquiring right skill set.
• Support with implementing automation as part of the Digital Agenda.
• Support Senior colleagues with Supplier Performance Management tasks.
• Share inputs with Master data teams to optimize back-end data quality.
• Assist Senior colleagues with the transactional support around Team initiatives & drives.
• Always follow the Maersk’s carbon neutral initiative to minimize the carbon emission in our supply chains.

We are looking for:

Qualification - Any Graduate Atleast 2 years of experience in procurement in Shipping & Logistics industry. Should have good communication and presentation skills.
