M2nxt Solutions in Bengaluru (Peenya) seeks a Fixture & Tooling Design Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in fixture design and tooling development. The role focuses on design, CAD modeling, GD&T, and collaboration with customers and vendors.

You will create 3D models and manufacturing drawings, prepare BOMs, and support assembly and prove-out activities, ensuring accurate documentation and compliant designs.

Job Summary
We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Fixture & Tooling Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of machining processes, fixture design, hydraulic systems, and CAD modeling. The role involves designing machining fixtures, preparing technical documentation, supporting assembly and prove-out activities, and collaborating with customers, vendors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop machining fixtures, tooling, and related mechanical assemblies.
• Create detailed 3D models and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Prepare accurate 2D drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation.
• Apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles in fixture and tooling designs.
• Perform engineering calculations related to fixture design, clamping forces, and structural requirements.
• Understand machining processes and manufacturing requirements for fixture development.
• Select suitable cutting tools, hydraulic elements, and standard components for fixture applications.
• Read, interpret, and implement hydraulic circuit diagrams.
• Support the application and manufacturing teams during fixture assembly, testing, and prove-out activities.
