Job summary

Group Company in Hyderabad is seeking skilled welders and fitters to perform fabrication, welding, and maintenance on plant machinery and piping. You will read engineering drawings, execute Arc/MIG/TIG welding, and ensure quality, safety, and alignment of components.

The role requires ITI in welding/fitter or equivalent and 2–4 years of FMCG/manufacturing experience. GMP and food safety guidelines must be followed; knowledge of drawings is essential.

Qualifications

• ITI in Fitter/Welder or equivalent technical qualification.
• Certificate in Welding Technology preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience in FMCG, Food Processing, Beverage, Dairy, Packaging, or Manufacturing Industry.
• Knowledge of fabrication, welding, cutting, grinding, and mechanical fitting activities.
• Ability to read technical drawings and fabrication sketches.

Responsibilities

• Carry out fabrication, fitting, and welding jobs for plant machinery, equipment, piping, and structures.
• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of production and utility equipment.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Repair damaged machine parts, frames, conveyor systems, platforms, and supporting structures.
• Execute welding activities using Arc, MIG, TIG, and Gas Welding techniques as per requirements.
• Fabricate guards, brackets, supports, platforms, trolleys, and machine components.
• Assist maintenance teams during machine overhauls, shutdowns, and installations.
• Inspect welded joints and fabricated components to ensure quality and safety standards.
• Ensure proper alignment, assembly, and installation of mechanical parts.
• Maintain tools, welding machines, and equipment in good working condition.
• Follow GMP, food safety, and workplace safety guidelines at all times.
• Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
• Maintain records of maintenance and fabrication activities.
