Job summary

Premier Solar Systems Pvt Ltd is seeking a proactive engineer to lead and support engineering and maintenance projects within water treatment operations. You will manage shift activities including maintenance, operations or modifications, with a focus on safety and compliance.

The role requires knowledge of chemicals used in water plant treatment, MSDS interpretation, and a track record of ensuring minimal plant downtime through preventive maintenance, validation experience, and timely defect

Responsibilities

• Responsible for engineering and maintenance projects
• Responsible for all shift activities, including maintenance, operations or any modifications.
• Have knowledge on chemicals which are used in water plant treatment, and able to understand the the MSDS of chemicals and act accordingly
• Be proactive in work line and take up required actions for zero breakdown of equipment.
• Performs and/or monitors maintenance and preventative maintenance projects
• Supports departmental maintenance programs and executes daily, weekly and monthly checklists
• Ensure the lines/equipment are in a safe state, correcting any defects in a timely manor
• Good experience in Validation, in complaints analysis and reporting
• Ensure right first time completion of all line repairs and maintenance activities
• Take ownership for own training plan with support from your manager
• Applies knowledge of engineering principles to design products such as chemical engineering systems including reaction vessels, filtration systems, ion-exchange skids, piping and vessel systems
• Conversant in the selection of commercially available equipment, which may include pumps, valves, pipe fittings, in-line components and filtration systems
• Generates and is fully conversant with Process Flow Diagrams, Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and Process Data Sheets
• Take necessary actions and show problem solving techniques towards critical situations and handling the plant with minimal breakdowns
