Job summary

Schneider Electric in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer to lead full lifecycle design, implementation, and validation of embedded C/C++ firmware for 3‑phase UPS systems and power electronics.

You will ensure code integrity, follow in-house validation practices, and collaborate across global teams to deliver high-quality firmware releases while deepening knowledge of PPE, safety, and electrical standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems
  • Knowledge of digital control systems
  • Experience or knowledge in communication protocols, signal processing, and/or tool chains
  • Experience with embedded Linux, GIT, VHDL, Python, or FPGA is essential
  • Previous involvement in the development of innovative and groundbreaking digital products is advantageous
  • Knowledge of PPE’s, Safety, ESD Hazards is mandatory
  • Basic knowledge in UPS designs & different topologies, Charger Ckts, Battery configurations, High DC voltage systems
  • Basic knowledge in safety standards, electrical codes, Symbols

Responsibilities

  • Understand Products’ Architecture design, specification, applicable standards, configuration, application & operations related to products.
