Job summary

Schneider Electric SE in Navi Mumbai (Mahape) seeks a Senior Manager – Embedded Systems (Firmware Design) with 5–10 years of hands-on embedded firmware experience using Embedded C. You will work with Linux-based embedded systems and RTOS like FreeRTOS, driving design, implementation, testing, and maintenance across the full software lifecycle.

You will collaborate with hardware, software, and systems engineering teams to ensure firmware performance, reliability, and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or Electronics & Communication required.
• 5–10 years of embedded firmware design experience.
• Proficiency in Embedded C in Linux-based and RTOS environments like FreeRTOS.
• Experience with debugging tools, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
• Familiarity with CAN, SPI, I2C, UART protocols.

Key Responsibility

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware using Embedded C.
• Work with Linux-based embedded systems and RTOS environments like FreeRTOS.

• Experience with debugging tools, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and version control systems (e.g., Git).

Good to Have

• Experience working on motor protection applications, Motor Control Unit, Feeder relays.
• Knowledge of functional safety standards.
• Exposure to cybersecurity in embedded systems (e.g., secure boot, encryption, secure communication).
• Familiarity with communication protocols like CAN, SPI, I2C, UART.
