Job Description
The Firmware Lead/Manager will own the architecture, development, integration, and delivery of firmware required to bring complex mixed-signal and wireless SoCs from silicon to production. The role includes close collaboration with Architecture, RTL Design, Analog/Mixed-Signal, Verification, Physical Design, DFT, Software, Applications Engineering, and Product Engineering teams.
The successful candidate should have hands-on experience with ARM subsystems, boot firmware, BSP development, device drivers, wireless firmware, silicon bring-up, and production firmware.
Key Responsibilities
SoC Firmware Architecture
- Define the firmware architecture for ARM-based SoCs.
- Develop scalable firmware frameworks supporting multiple product families.
- Partition functionality between hardware, firmware, and software.
- Review hardware architecture and influence SoC feature definitions.
- Establish coding standards, architecture guidelines, and firmware design principles.
