Job summary

Tekskills invites a Senior Software Engineer in Hyderabad to drive core development in the storage domain. You should have 10–15 years of software/firmware development with C/C++ and solid OO design, plus experience with SDLC and release processes.

The role requires creating software requirements and design documents (SRS/SDS), strong analytical skills, and excellent written and spoken communication. MTech in Computer Science is expected; Matlab knowledge and Python basics are a plus.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of software/firmware development using C/C++.
• OO design skills with data structures and C++ programming.
• Experience with SDLC and release processes.
• Able to design and create Software requirement and design documents (SRS, SDS).
• Strong analytical skills with debugging proficiency.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• MTech in Computer Science or related courses.

Responsibilities

• Will be responsible for the core development in storage domain.
• Should be able to independently develop and design software/firmware with minimum guidance.
• Design, review, code programs as per the project specifications.
• Attitude to learn and contribute quickly, pro-active and self-motivated in day-to-day tasks.
• Interact with onsite team/customer for issue resolution through written communication (emails) and video conferencing.
• Report the status of the allocated assignment to the Technical Architect / Associate Technical Architect as per defined process.

Role & responsibilities

SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Mandatory :

• 10 to 15 years of Software/Firmware development using C++/C
• Excellent in object-oriented design skills with hands‑on experience on Data structures and C++ programming
• Should have developed product using SDLC process and be aware about release process
• Able to design and create Software requirement and design document ( SRS, SDS )
• Strong analytical skill with hands‑on debugging skills
• Excellent Oral and written communication skills
• Educational Background : MTech in Computer Science related courses

Highly Preferred :

• Simulation development using Matlab
• Basic understanding of SOC architecture, communication protocol

Additional Expectation ( Plus points ) :

• Experience in device driver development
• Knowledge of basic python
• Development experience in Storage ( SSD/HDD ) domain is plus
