Responsibilities

• Develop fire safety plans for buildings and sites.
• Ensure fire and life safety systems are functional and ready to use.
• Provide input to senior management after risk assessment.
• Report abnormalities and incidents promptly per SOP.
• Plan and conduct evacuation drills and fire safety trainings.
• Prepare disaster management and emergency plans.
• Supervise security staff and train on safety procedures.
• Conduct security investigations and incident reports.
• Handle emergencies including fires, evacuations, and crises.
• Perform rescue, firefighting and salvage operations as needed.
• Conduct risk assessments and plan guarding strategies.
• Run mock drills for medical emergencies and threats.
• Liaise with government agencies and maintain MIS.

Roles and Responsibility

• Developing fire safety plans for building / construction site
• Ensuring that all fire and life safety systems installed in the work premises are effective, efficient and ready to use
• Ensuring critical analysis of the situation in terms of fire safety to provide input to senior Management for decision making
• Reports all abnormalities, incidents in respect of environment, health safety promptly and takes immediate actions as per SOP and/or as directed by superiors
• Preparing plans and executing (fire and life safety) evacuation drills and other fire safety related trainings to the team members and occupants available in the premises.
• Ensuring an effective emergency preparedness /disaster management plan is in place
• Supervising Security and concerned staff, assign /monitor work assignments and provide training for staff on security procedures and basic fire and first aid
• Conducting Security investigations and preparation of Incident report.
• Handling emergency situations with efficiency (i. e. fire, evacuations, customer complaints/ human crises etc. )
• Completing appropriate rescue, firefighting and salvage operations at a fire scene
• Conducting Security Risk Assessment planning effective Guarding Strategies
• Conducting Mock Drills on medical emergencies, Bomb Threats/Search Handling etc.
• Being proficient with security and safety devices like CCTV, access control, DFMD, fire detection and fighting system
