Job summary

Godrej Properties is seeking a Finishing Engineer to lead finishing works for a residential high‑rise project in Pune. The role requires 5–10 years of experience in similar projects and a Civil Engineering qualification.

You will oversee waterproofing, plastering, tiling, painting, flooring, and faade works, ensuring quality and on‑time delivery on site. The candidate will coordinate with MEP teams, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers, conduct inspections, manage snag lists, and support

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• 5–10 years of experience in residential high-rise projects.
• Experience in finishing works including waterproofing, plastering, tiling, painting, flooring, and faade works.

Responsibilities

• Execute and supervise finishing works including waterproofing, brickwork/blockwork, plastering, screeding, flooring, tiling, painting, false ceiling, and faade works.
• Ensure execution as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.
• Coordinate effectively with MEP teams, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Conduct quality inspections, prepare and close snag lists, and ensure defect‑free project delivery.
• Plan and monitor material usage, productivity, and subcontractor performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.
• Prepare progress reports and maintain project documentation.
• Lead pre‑handover inspections and ensure timely handover of apartments and common areas.
• Support post‑handover defect rectification during the Defect Liability Period (DLP).
• Strong knowledge of architectural finishes, waterproofing systems, construction drawings, and good planning, coordination, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
