Hewlett Packard Enterprise seeks a Financial Systems Lead in a hybrid role based in Karnataka to drive SAP S/4HANA Finance transformations across the finance landscape, unifying processes and data. Qualifications

Job Description

HPE’s acquisition of Juniper Networks is one of the most significant moves in the company’s history, bringing two networking leaders together to build HPE Networking, with the ambition of creating the best networking business on the planet. This role sits at the center of that effort as part of the Lead-to-Cash L2C program, responsible for unifying quoting, ordering, and fulfillment across the combined HPE and Juniper networking portfolios onto a single platform, replacing fragmented legacy systems with one seamless, scalable experience for sellers, partners, and customers worldwide.

As part of a fast-moving, multi-year transformation, the team will stabilize near-term operations, migrate core platforms, onboard businesses and suppliers globally, and build new capabilities from the ground up. The choices made here will shape how the combined networking business operates for years to come. You will work closely withbusiness leaders, IT architects, suppliers, and partner stakeholders on a program with direct executive visibility, solving integration challenges at a scale few companies ever attempt.

What you’ll do

Responsibilities

• Analyze Finance business requirements and translate them into SAP S/4HANA and Finance system solutions.
• Support and enhance SAP Finance capabilities including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Controlling, Financial Closing, and Reporting.
• Partner with Solution Architects, SAP teams, developers, and business stakeholders on system enhancements, integrations, and transformation initiatives.
• Lead/support SIT, UAT, regression testing, releases, and production deployments, ensuring solution quality and business readiness.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive timely resolution and prevention of recurring issues.
• Support Finance close activities, data validation, reconciliation, reporting, and system-related controls.
• Ensure solutions comply with SOX, internal controls, audit, security, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain functional specifications, process documentation, test scenarios, and knowledge articles.
• Identify opportunities for automation, process simplification, standardization, self-service, and improved user experience.
• Provide functional guidance, knowledge transfer, and mentoring to support teams and junior analysts.
• Contribute to Finance technology roadmap, SAP modernization, and digital transformation initiatives.

What you need to bring :

Education And Experience Required

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field.

Knowledge And Skills

• 10–14 years of experience in Finance Systems, Business Systems Analysis, ERP, or enterprise IT, with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance and SAP ERP.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Finance modules including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Controlling, Financial Closing, and Reporting, with experience in configuration, integrations, testing, and production support.
• Experience with SAP integrations across MM, SD, Procurement, and third-party/enterprise applications, including data flow, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of SOX, controls, audit, release management, problem solving, and Finance transformation, with excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills.
