Job summary

Acuity Analytics in Gurgaon is hiring for Financial Spreading (Lending Services) - Associate/Sr. Associate to support credit appraisal, financial spreading, lending operations, and ongoing credit monitoring for global banking clients.

You will spread financial statements with MRA and CreditLens, analyze quarterly to annual statements, normalize for non-recurring items, and calculate core metrics. MBA/CA/CFA with 2-6 years in spreading and advanced Excel are required.

Qualifications

• MBA (Finance) / CA or CFA level equivalent required.
• 2-6 years of experience in financial spreading.
• Proficiency in advanced MS Excel and financial statement analysis.

Responsibilities

• Spread financial statements using MRA, CreditLens, and client platforms.
• Analyze financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) quarterly to annual.
• Review notes and MD&A for breakups and adjustments.
• Normalize financials for non-recurring items.
• Compute key metrics like adjusted net worth, recurring cash flows, and debt service.
• Perform borrowing base calculations and review related certificates.
• Assess guarantors' personal financial statements and tax returns.
• Prepare projected cash flow to assess liquidity and debt repayment capacity.

Financial Spreading (Lending Services) - Associate/ Sr. Associate

Job Purpose

We are looking for dedicated and motivated professionals with robust analytical, technical, and organizational skills to support credit appraisal, financial spreading, lending operations, and ongoing credit monitoring for global banking and financial services clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and spread financial statements using Moody's Risk Analyst (MRA), CreditLens, and client-specific platforms
• Analyze quarterly, monthly, semi-annual, and annual financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) of public and private companies
• Review supplementary schedules, notes, and MD&A; for detailed breakups and adjustments
• Normalize financials for exceptional and non-recurring items to assess true profitability
• Calculate key financial metrics including Adjusted Net Worth, Recurring Cash Flows, Annual Debt Service, Contingent Liabilities, and custom ratios
• Perform borrowing base calculations, review borrowing base certificates, and process
• Analyze personal Financial Statements and personal tax returns of guarantors
• Preparing projected cash flow to assess short-term liquidity needs and debt repayment capacity

Key Competencies

• MBA (Finance) / CA (CPA equivalent) / CFA
• Experience of 2-6 years in spreading
• Proficiency in Advanced MS Excel
• Conduct detailed quality checks of deliverables completed by self, peers, and junior team members
