Job summary

Acuity Analytics in Gurgaon is seeking a Financial Spreading professional (Associate to Manager level) to join the Lending Services team. You will analyze and spread financial statements for credit appraisal, supporting US-based client deliverables.

The role requires 3–12 years in spreading and covenant monitoring, strong MS Excel, and a good grasp of credit principles. You will work on a 10am–7pm IST schedule at the Gurgaon office.

Qualifications

• 3–12 years of experience in spreading and covenant monitoring.
• Strong credit principles knowledge and regulatory awareness.
• Proficient in advanced MS Excel.
• Experience with US-based banks is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and spread financial statements in Moody’s RiskAnalyst (MRA) / Creditlens / client customized templates.
• Analyze income statement, balance sheet & cash flow for the credit appraisal process.
• Review supplementary schedules, notes and MD&A for detailed breakups and adjustments.
• Normalize financial statements for exceptional items to arrive at true profitability.
• Calculate Adjusted Net Worth, Recurring Cash Flows, Debt Service, Contingent Liabilities, and other metrics.
• Screen credit agreements and analyze covenants applicable to the borrower.
• Monitor covenant compliance and client reporting.
• Conduct detailed quality checks of client deliverables.
• Manage capacity, efficiency and accuracy of the process.
• Knowledge of banking processes related to commercial lending, especially corporate loans.
• Deliver 100% quality, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
• Communicate with the client to ensure expectations are met.
• Support with project scoping, client communication, resource staffing, and MIS reporting.

Job Purpose

We are looking for a passionate, energetic individual to join our Lending Services division. You will be part of team working as an extension to our US based client ensuring we fulfill the applicable SLA’s.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyzing and spreading the financial statements in Moody’s RiskAnalyst (MRA) / Creditlens / client customized templates
• Analysis of financial statements including Income statement, Balance Sheet & cash flow of public & private companies for the credit appraisal process
• Going through the supplementary schedules, notes and MD&A for the detailed breakups and adjustments
• Normalizing the financial statement for exceptional and non-recurring items to arrive at the true profitability figures
• Calculating the Adjusted Net Worth, Recurring Cash Flows, Annual Debt Service, Contingent Liabilities, Custom Ratios and other financial metrics
• Screening the credit agreements and analyzing the financial covenants applicable to the borrower
• Monitor Covenant compliance and reporting.
• Conduct detailed quality checks of client deliverables
• Managing capacity, efficiency and accuracy of the process
• The candidate should possess reasonable knowledge of the banking processes related to commercial lending, especially corporate loans.
• Responsible for delivering 100% quality, Meeting strict deadlines and ability to work under pressure.
• Regular communication with the client to ensure the expectations are met
• Support with project scoping, client communication, resource staffing based on the requirement, end-to-end workflow management, MIS reporting, etc.

Key Competencies

• MBA (Finance) / CA (CPA equivalent) / CFA
• Experience of 3-12 years in spreading and covenant monitoring
• Strong understanding of credit principles, policies, and regulations
• Proficient in Advanced MS Excel
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills
• Experience of working for a US based bank will be an added advantage
