Job summary

HP Inc. is seeking a Financial Process and Solutioning Lead in India to drive cross-functional initiatives, mentor teams, and guide complex financial analyses with a focus on process improvements and policy establishment.

You will collaborate with business leaders to influence strategic decisions, lead end-to-end process design, and advocate best practices in reporting and data governance while delivering measurable business value.

Qualifications

• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in financial management, IT projects, process improvement, or a related field

• Solution Design & Delivery: design and implement solutions that support effective decision making across Business Finance teams.
• Innovation: identify opportunities where IT can deliver cost-effective, standardized solutions including AI and automation for Finance and internal efficiency.
• Data and Profitability Expertise: leverage management reporting knowledge to propose solutions for Finance stakeholders.
• Process Optimization: spearhead development and implementation of new and improved processes.
• Project Leadership: manage complex implementations from concept to completion with risk mitigation and timely delivery.
• Operations and Execution: provide hands-on operational support with analytics and reporting across end-to-end processes.
• Governance & Best Practices: advocate for reporting design, data governance, and IT process improvement.

Financial Process and Solutioning Lead

This role is responsible for leading and providing expertise to project teams, participating in cross-functional initiatives, and guiding process improvements and policy establishment. The role collaborates with business leaders to influence strategic decision-making and conducts complex financial analysis to achieve objectives effectively. The role also represents the business unit and the organization as needed, builds productive relationships, and mentors lower-level employees.

Responsibilities

• Solution Design & Delivery: Responsible to design and implement solutions, that support effective decision making across Business Finance teams.
• Innovation: Identify opportunities where IT can deliver cost-effective, standardized solutions, including the use of AI and automation solutions for Finance and for internal efficiency.
• Data and Profitability Expertise: Leverage extensive knowledge of management reporting to propose solutions for our Finance organization stakeholders.
• Process Optimization: Recognize the demand for new and improved processes and spearheads their development and implementation.
• Project Leadership: Manage complex implementations from concept to completion, ensuring stakeholder alignment, risk mitigation, and timely delivery.
• Operations and Execution: Hands on operational support managing end-to-end process execution including analytics and reporting
• Governance & Best Practices: Advocate for best practices in reporting design, data governance, and IT process improvement across the organization.

Education & Experience Recommended

• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
