Responsibilities

  • Leading and managing financial due diligence (FDD) engagements, ensuring thorough analysis and risk assessment.
  • Evaluating the financial and operational performance of target businesses by reviewing financial statements, accounting records, and conducting management interviews.
  • Preparing detailed databooks, and due diligence reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial information.
  • Conducting quality of earnings (QoE) analysis, assessing revenue trends, profitability, and sustainability of earnings.
  • Performing working capital and cash flow analysis to assess liquidity risks and operational efficiency.
  • Developing customized reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate due diligence findings effectively to clients.
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams, including tax, legal, and operational advisors, to ensure a comprehensive due diligence process.
  • Reviewing and validating financial assumptions, forecasts, and projections to identify potential variances and risks.

We are looking to hire an Associate Director for our Financial Due Diligence practice in Bangalore.

Our preferred candidate profile is as follows:

  • 8-10 years of post-qualification experience in Financial Due Diligence Front End [We are not evaluating people with back end FDD experience]
  • Experience with a Big Four firm is mandatory
  • Currently based in Bangalore and spent at least 5-7 years in the Bangalore market and possesses a strong local network and market understanding
Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading and managing financial due diligence (FDD) engagements, ensuring thorough analysis and risk assessment.
  • Evaluating the financial and operational performance of target businesses by reviewing financial statements, accounting records, and conducting management interviews.
  • Preparing detailed databooks, and due diligence reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial information.
  • Conducting quality of earnings (QoE) analysis, assessing revenue trends, profitability, and sustainability of earnings.
  • Performing working capital and cash flow analysis to assess liquidity risks and operational efficiency.
  • Developing customized reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate due diligence findings effectively to clients.
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams, including tax, legal, and operational advisors, to ensure a comprehensive due diligence process.

  • A chartered Accountant with 8+years of related work experience.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the confidence to translate complex data into meaningful insights.
  • The ability to prioritize effectively on projects and the skills to adapt quickly to new challenges and concepts.
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, and the ability to develop long-lasting relationships both internally and externally.
  • Must be willing and able to travel.
