Qualifications

• Budgeting, cost control, and variance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely accounting and month-end closing at plant level with Head Office coordination.
• Release monthly costs and report standard cost variances.
• Prepare annual budget and monthly P&L variance for the plant.
• Manage inventory control including obsolete/non-moving stock, cycle counts, physical verification, and overheads.
• Calculate annual MHR and LHR.
• Validate savings from cost reduction projects and identify further opportunities.
• Prepare and analyze daily/weekly MIS reports on tools, rejection costs, maintenance, inventory, sales, purchases, and gross margins.
• Act as the SAP CO master data owner at the plant.
• Coordinate with vendors and customers to resolve ITC mismatches.
• Manage State Government incentive schemes with consultants.
• Resolve F&A queries and serve as the single POC for financial support.
• Coordinate and ensure timely closure of statutory audits.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts.
• Hands-on experience of more than 4 years in the SAP FI/CO module.
• Familiarity with matrix reporting at both plant and corporate (Head Office) levels.
• Cross-functional team exposure.
• Strong understanding of machine cycle time, tool life, and OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).
• Experience in budgeting, cost control, and variance analysis.

Experience & Skills Required

• Ensure timely accounting and month-end closing activities at the plant level in coordination with the Head Office.
• Release monthly costs and report standard cost variances.
• Prepare the annual budget and conduct monthly Profit & Loss variance analysis for the plant.
• Manage inventory control, including reporting obsolete and non-moving inventory, validating cycle counts, conducting physical stock verification, and calculating annual purchase overheads.
• Calculate annual Machine Hour Rate (MHR) and Labour Hour Rate (LHR).
• Validate savings achieved through cost reduction projects and identify further cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare and analyze daily and weekly MIS reports covering tools, rejection costs, maintenance expenses, inventory, sales, purchases, and gross margins.
• Act as the key user and owner of SAP Controlling (CO) master data at the plant.
• Coordinate with vendors and customers to resolve Input Tax Credit (ITC) mismatches.
• Manage State Government incentive schemes in coordination with consultants.
• Resolve Finance & Accounts-related queries from all departments and serve as the single point of contact for financial support.
• Coordinate and ensure timely closure of statutory audits by resolving audit observations and queries.
