Job summary

o9 Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst in FP&A to partner with the US leadership, delivering monthly P&L reporting, variance analysis, and operating plans.

You will drive forecasts, close processes with accounting, build KPI dashboards, and empower leaders with insights to improve top and bottom lines.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in finance or related field, preferably SaaS or supply chain.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related area; MBA with FP&A experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP/ IFRS and financial reporting concepts.
• Experience with budgeting, reporting tools and month-end close processes.
• Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP and with AOP/forecasts.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead FP&A activities including monthly/quarterly close, analysis and reporting.
• Collaborate with Accounting during close to ensure accurate entries and suggest adjustments.
• Identify variances to forecast, budget and prior year expenses and propose improvements.
• Prepare and present monthly P&L reporting with variance explanations and headcount detail.
• Develop quarterly forecasts and bottom-up budgets with Finance Manager and portfolio leaders.
• Dive into financial data and provide insights during forecast/budget cycles.
• Partner with GMs/functional leaders to drive analysis and decision-support tools.
• Develop and monitor core KPIs to track progress toward the operating plan.

Job Title - Senior Financial Analyst (Financial Planning & Analysis)

Senior Financial Analyst role partnering with the US leadership team to drive company performance through monthly P&L reporting, variance analysis, and delivery of annual operating plans and quarterly forecasts.

What you’ll do for us

• Lead FP&A activities including monthly/quarterly close, analysis and reporting for the respective function/business
• Work with Accounting during close process to ensure accurate entries and suggest reclasses, accruals as needed
• Identify and research variances to forecast, budget and prior year expenses, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement
• Prepare and present P&L monthly reporting package with variance explanations, headcount analysis, expense detail by vendor
• Develop quarterly forecasts and bottom‑up budget, working with the Finance Manager and portfolio leaders
• Dive deeply into financial data and become a subject matter expert to provide additional insights during forecast/budget process
• Business partner with the GMs/Functional leaders to drive analysis and tools for improved decision making
• Develop and monitor core KPIs to track progression towards achieving operating plan and to drive both top and bottom‑line performance

What you’ll have

• Experience: 6+ years in finance or related field, preferably in SaaS or supply chain industries.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance or related area; MBA with 3+ years of FP&A experience highly preferred.
• Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of accounting/financial/operational principles: GAAP/ IFRS
  • Experience working with reporting and budgeting tools, NetSuite financial systems preferred.
  • Experience developing analysis, reporting metrics and adept with AOP, quarterly forecasting, month end close/reporting.
  • Superior attention to detail, ability to manage multiple, competing priorities while maintaining a big‑picture view.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interface with various levels of management.
• Advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills (or Google Workspace equivalent)
