Job summary

Bs Shipmanagement is seeking a Financial Analyst & Strategic Projects Manager in Mumbai to deliver high-quality financial analysis, business planning, and strategic project support across regions. You will develop financial insights, evaluate investments, and coordinate initiatives while ensuring governance and compliance.

The role requires substantial experience in financial analysis, management reporting, and cross-functional collaboration, with a focus on risk assessment and performance

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Professional qualification in accounting, finance, or project management is advantageous.
• Substantial experience in financial analysis, management reporting, business planning, or financial modelling.
• Experience in business case development, forecasting, and financial evaluation.
• Knowledge of corporate and tax structures.
• Demonstrated experience in cross-functional project delivery and stakeholder coordination.
• Experience working across multiple entities, countries, or regional stakeholders is advantageous.

• Build and evaluate business cases, financial models, forecasts, and investment proposals.
• Assess financial implications, assumptions, risks, and sensitivities associated with new business initiatives and investments.
• Provide recommendations and implementation support for approved business cases and strategic initiatives.
• Lead or support strategic projects across multiple regions, ensuring effective planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting.
• Establish project objectives, milestones, work plans, risk assessments, and reporting frameworks.
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and alignment on key priorities.
• Identify, document, monitor, and escalated material financial, operational, and project-related risks.
• Support corporate governance, regulatory compliance, legal coordination, and the evaluation of efficient corporate and funding structures.
• Maintain confidentiality, uphold internal controls, and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and corporate policies.
• Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate decision-making and project success.

As a Financial Analyst & Strategic Projects Manager at BSM, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial analysis, business planning, and strategic project support across multiple regions. This role plays a key part in enabling informed business decisions by developing financial insights, evaluating investment opportunities, improving management information, and coordinating the implementation of strategic initiatives.
