Brown-Forman Corporation in Gurgaon, India is seeking a Finance Business Partner to provide analytical insight to the local business team, working with Marketing and Commercial functions. You will interact with Sales, Trade/Customer Marketing, and Marketing to drive business decisions, reporting, and forecasting.

The role reports to the Finance Manager and requires 1+ year of finance experience in a multinational consumer‑goods setting, with strong Excel and SAP BI skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance & Accounting or Economics (preferably).
  • 1+ year of finance experience in a multinational consumer‑products‑goods company or equivalent.
  • Fluency in English language for everyday work.
  • Strong financial and analytical abilities.
  • Experience with accounting, budgeting and valuation software (MS Office, SAP BW/BI).
  • Proficient in Excel.

Responsibilities

  • End‑to‑end responsible for the GTR rolling forecast.
  • Prepare and update the GTR forecasting tools.
  • Collaborate with commercial & marketing teams to ensure accurate forecast.
  • Lead all communication and organization of the forecasting process in GTR.
  • Align with the EAA FP&A team on requirements and timelines.
  • Create reporting and analysis on the rolling forecast for leadership decisions.
  • Ensure P&L lines of the FC align with pricing, discounts and A&P.
  • Maintain GTR global reporting package and distribute reports/tools.
  • Provide analytical support with insights and recommendations.
  • Support presentations on actuals, budget, and forecasts.
  • Improve internally used BI tools (Tableau, Newton).
  • Maintain master data and data integrity in planning & forecasting (SAP/brands/customers).
  • Ad‑hoc analysis and cross‑functional projects.
  • Represent GTR finance in special projects.

Job description

Role Overview

This role is to provide support and analytical insight to the local business team in the organization, working very closely with Marketing and Commercial functions. As finance business partner the incumbent will interact with the Sales, the Trade/Customer Marketing, and the Marketing teams as well as the other departments to actively drive business decisions. This person will work directly for the Finance Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be end‑to‑end responsible for the GTR rolling forecast
  • Prepare and update the GTR forecasting tools
  • Work closely with commercial and marketing teams to ensure an accurate forecast
  • Lead all communication and organization of the forecasting process in GTR
  • Align with the EAA FP&A team on requirements and timelines and effectively communicate these to the wider GTR team
  • Create insightful reporting and analysis on the rolling forecast to help the Finance Manager and leadership team analyze and take decisions
  • Work closely with all members of the finance team to make sure all P&L lines of the FC are in line with expectations (pricing, discounts and A&P)
  • Be responsible for the GTR global reporting package: develop and distribute all necessary reports and tools to the commercial and marketing teams
  • Provide analytical support by sharing accurate insights and developing recommendations
  • Support preparation of presentations relating to actuals, budget, and forecasts
  • Support and improve internally used BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Newton)
  • Be responsible for master data maintenance and data integrity in planning & forecasting process – SAP/brands/customers
  • Ad‑hoc analysis, special projects and support in all other areas of the Finance Team
  • Represent GTR finance in special, cross‑functional projects
  • Support Finance Manager in the daily business and special projects
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance & Accounting or Economics (preferably)
  • 1+ year of finance experience with a multinational consumer‑products‑goods company or equivalent experience
  • Fluency in English language for everyday work
  • Strong financial and analytical abilities
  • Experience with software applications in accounting, budgeting, and valuation techniques (MS Office, SAP incl. Business Warehouse/BI)
  • Proficient in Excel
