Job summary

Applicantz, Inc. is seeking an experienced Financial Analyst in Bengaluru to drive FP&A activities, budgeting, forecasting, and spend management.

The role involves partnering with FBPs and budget owners to analyze expenditure and provide actionable insights for business decisions. The ideal candidate has 6-7 years of total experience with at least 5 years in finance, and will support month-end close, reporting, and cost control initiatives.

Qualifications

• 6-7 years total experience, with 5+ years in relevant finance roles.
• Strong FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, spend management and financial reporting.
• Experience partnering with Finance Business Partners (FBPs) and budget owners.
• Experience with month-end and quarter-end close, accruals and cross-charges.
• Knowledge of cost control, headcount tracking, and fixed cost management.
• Familiarity with financial policies and reporting standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage OPEX and COGS budgets, forecasts, and actuals with accurate reporting.
• Analyze spending trends, identify cost-saving opportunities, and report financial risks.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports for senior stakeholders.
• Partner with Finance and HR to track headcount and fixed costs.
• Coordinate quarter-end activities including accruals and cross-charges with Corporate Accounting.
• Develop financial models, improve reporting processes, and support ad-hoc analyses.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

We are looking for a skilled Financial Analyst with 6-7 years of overall experience and at least 5 years of relevant finance experience. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), budgeting, forecasting, spend management, and financial reporting.

The role involves partnering with Finance Business Partners (FBPs) and budget owners to analyse expenditure, identify cost-saving opportunities, manage forecasts, and provide actionable financial insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage OPEX and COGS budgets, forecasts, and actuals, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.
• Analyse spending trends, identify cost-saving opportunities, and highlight financial risks.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports and communicate key insights to senior stakeholders.
• Partner with Finance and HR teams to track headcount, hiring plans, and fixed costs.
• Manage quarter-end activities, including accruals and cross-charges, in coordination with Corporate Accounting.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and accounting procedures.
• Develop financial models and templates, improve reporting processes, and support ad-hoc financial analysis.
