Job Overview

The Business and Financial Analyst will play a key role in analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights to support strategic business decisions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Analysis:
  • Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support.
  • Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
  • Identify trends, advise the company, and recommend actions to management based on sound analysis.
• Budgeting and Forecasting:
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
  • Monitor and report on financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
  • Develop financial projections and business plans.
• Reporting:
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports as per IND AS.
  • Provide accurate and timely financial information to management.
  • Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and regulations.
• Business Analysis:
  • Conduct business performance analysis and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to understand their financial needs and provide analytical support.
  • Support strategic initiatives by providing financial insights and analysis.
• Risk Management:
  • Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analysis and financial feasibility studies for new projects.
• Process Improvement:
  • Streamline financial processes and procedures to improve efficiency.
  • Implement best practices in financial planning and analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CA preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, business analysis, or a related role.
• Strong proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and analysis.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and financial software applications.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience in the Foods & Ingredients / Consumer products industry is a plus.
