Job summary

Smartworkconsultants in India is seeking a financial analyst to drive analytic insights and performance improvement for our retail-focused operations.

You will analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts, prepare MIS reports and dashboards, and support profitability through cost control and store-wise performance analysis. Collaboration with accounts, operations, procurement, and management is essential to enable data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

We are looking for candidate experienced in analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about financial planning and business performance.

Analyze financial statements, revenue, expenses, and profitability.

Prepare budgets, financial forecasts, and budget-versus-actual reports.

Monitor store-wise sales, operating expenses, and financial performance.

Conduct variance analysis and identify opportunities for cost optimization.

Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, and management presentations.

Analyze sales trends, gross margins, operating costs, and business KPIs.

Support cash flow planning, financial planning, and budgeting activities.

Coordinate with accounts, operations, procurement, and management teams.

Assist in financial modelling, business planning, and decision support.

Recommend improvements to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.

Requirements

Qualification & Experience

Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance / CA Inter / CMA Inter or equivalent.

Experience: 2-5 years in financial analysis, budgeting, MIS, or finance.
