Job summary

Dhariwal Securities Private Limited invites a Financial Analyst specialised in investment research, AI and automation to join our Mumbai team. You will analyse mutual funds, ETFs and market data, build automated analysis workflows and deliver dashboards for decision-makers.

You will work with Technology, Product and Sales teams to integrate data across platforms, applying Python, Power Query and Power Automate to streamline processes and enhance insights.

Qualifications

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business Analytics, Data Analytics or related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in financial services, investment research, wealth management, asset management or fintech.

Responsibilities

• Analyse mutual funds, ETFs, investment products and capital-market data.
• Build and maintain investment analysis models, scoring frameworks, comparison tools and performance reports.
• Coordinate with AMCs, RTAs and data providers to obtain accurate, updated investment data.
• Collect, validate, structure and standardise data from multiple sources.
• Maintain datasets and information models for internal systems, website and mobile app.
• Work with Technology/Product to integrate/update investment data across digital platforms.
• Automate repetitive data collection, Excel analysis, reporting using AI and automation tools.
• Develop workflows using Power Query, Power Automate, Python and other technologies.
• Prepare dashboards, MIS reports and data visualisations for management decisions.
• Research mutual fund schemes, investment products and market developments.
• Provide updated analysis and product information to Sales and Relationship teams.
• Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Technology and Product to improve processes.
• Maintain records of data sources, models, methodologies and reports.

Financial Analyst Investment Research, AI & Automation

Role Overview

We are looking for a Financial Analyst with strong knowledge of mutual funds, investment products and capital markets, along with an experience in AI, automation, data analysis and technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse mutual funds, ETFs, investment products and capital-market data.
• Build and maintain investment analysis models, scoring frameworks, comparison tools and performance reports.
• Coordinate with AMCs, RTAs and data providers to obtain accurate, updated investment data.
• Collect, validate, structure and standardise data from multiple sources.
• Maintain datasets and information models for the company's internal systems, website and mobile application.
• Work with the Technology/Product team to integrate and regularly update investment data across digital platforms.
• Automate repetitive data collection, Excel analysis, reporting and operational processes using AI and automation tools.
• Develop workflows using Power Query, Power Automate, Python and other relevant technologies.
• Prepare dashboards, MIS reports and data visualisations for management decisions.
• Research mutual fund schemes, investment products and market developments.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of mutual funds, ETFs, investment products and capital markets.
• Advanced Excel and Power Query, including Pivot Tables, advanced formulas and data analysis.
• Hands-on knowledge of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude or similar.
• Understanding of automation tools such as Power Automate, Make and Zapier.
• Working knowledge of Python (Pandas/OpenPyXL), SQL and/or Power BI is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to convert complex financial data into clear, meaningful insights.
• Willingness to learn and implement emerging AI and automation technologies.

Qualification & Experience

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business Analytics, Data Analytics or a related field.
• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in financial services, investment research, wealth management, asset management or fintech.
