Job summary

Digirecruitx in Mumbai is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to work with global institutional investors on financial modelling, equity research, and data-driven insights. You will help develop investment theses, conduct fundamental research, and contribute to capital allocation discussions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a Masters in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative field.
• 1-3 years of experience in Equity Research, Investment Banking, Financial Consulting, or a similar analytical role; fresh graduates may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and enhance three-statement financial models using InSync's proprietary modelling platform and AI tools.
• Prepare quarterly earnings models, revenue forecasts, margin analysis, DCF valuations, comparable company analysis, and scenario-based forecasts.
• Convert complex financial information into client-ready analytical insights.
• Support portfolio managers and senior investment professionals with research and investment idea generation.
• Conduct in-depth fundamental research across industries and companies.
• Analyze competitive positioning, industry trends, market size, unit economics, and business performance.
• Monitor earnings calls, filings, management commentary, sell-side reports, and industry developments.
• Utilize AI-powered research tools to improve research efficiency and accelerate insight generation.
• Leverage institutional datasets to perform advanced financial analysis.
• Analyze consensus estimates, ownership trends, estimate revisions, supply chain data, and market signals.
• Collaborate with product and data engineering teams to improve financial models and data quality.
• Act as a trusted research partner for institutional investment clients.
• Deliver timely financial model updates, earnings previews, research reports, and ad hoc analytical projects.

• Monitor earnings calls, company filings, management commentary, sell‑side reports, and industry developments.

Data Analysis & AI‑Driven Research : -

• Leverage institutional datasets to perform advanced financial analysis.
• Analyze consensus estimates, ownership trends, estimate revisions, supply chain data, and market signals.
• Utilize AI‑powered research assistants and data platforms to automate data extraction and analysis.
• Collaborate with product and data engineering teams to improve financial models and data quality.

Client Engagement : -

• Act as a trusted research partner for institutional investment clients.
• Deliver timely financial model updates, earnings previews, research reports, and ad hoc analytical projects.
• Build strong working relationships with client teams while understanding their investment processes and priorities.

Qualifications & Skills : -

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or a Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative field.
• 1-3 years of experience in Equity Research, Investment Banking, Financial Consulting, or a similar analytical role. Exceptional fresh graduates may also be considered.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, financial modelling, and valuation techniques (DCF, Comparable Company Analysis, SOTP).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; exposure to FactSet or similar financial data platforms is an added advantage.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Self-driven, detail‑oriented, and passionate about financial markets and investing.
• CFA Charterholders or candidates pursuing advanced levels of the CFA program will be preferred.
