Insight Consultants in Bangalore is hiring a Finance Tech Lead who will own client relationships and deliver automation and AI solutions. This hybrid role blends client-facing work with hands-on delivery of workflows, integrations, and AI agents.

The position requires communicating with executives, designing scalable automation, and shipping production-grade solutions for diverse clients from Bangalore.

Qualifications

• Experience automating business processes using tools such as Power Automate, n8n, Azure Functions or Python, plus REST APIs and data integration.
• Experience building LLM-based agents or workflows for clients using Claude or OpenAI APIs or similar frameworks.
• Strong SQL skills and ability to move/reshape data between systems.
• 2+ years in a client-facing consulting, solutions engineering, or similar role.

ROLE SUMMARY

Insight Consultants is hiring a Finance Tech Lead who owns client relationships and also builds the
automation and AI solutions those clients buy. This is a hybrid seat: half the job is talking to clients and
translating their messy processes into scope, the other half is building and shipping the fix (workflows,
integrations, and AI agents).

RESPONSIBILITIES

Account management

• Own day-to-day relationships with assigned clients: status calls, expectation-setting, and escalations.
• Run discovery sessions to understand a client's current process, pain points, and what "done" looks
  like.
• Turn discovery into written scope, estimates, and proposals, and say so early when a request is out of scope or won't pay back.
• Identify expansion opportunities inside existing accounts and hand qualified leads to the sales lead.

Technical delivery and automation

• Map client processes and build automations: workflow tools, APIs, scripts, and integrations between systems such as accounting, CRM, and operational platforms.
• Design, build, and deploy AI agents and LLM-based workflows, including tool use, prompt design, evaluation, and cost control.
• Write documentation and runbooks so clients and our own team can support what you build.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Communication: You explain technical trade-offs to non-technical executives in plain language and write clear emails and scope documents.
• Process automation: Demonstrated experience automating business processes using tools such as Power Automate, n8n, Azure Functions, or Python, plus REST APIs and data integration.
• AI agents: Hands-on experience building LLM-based agents or workflows that run in production or for a real client, using tools such as the Claude or OpenAI APIs, MCP servers, or agent frameworks.
• Data fundamentals: Comfortable with SQL and with moving and reshaping data between systems.
• Client-facing experience: At least 2 years in consulting, account management, solutions engineering, or a similar client-facing technical role.

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, or other analytics platforms.
• Familiarity with accounting systems such as QuickBooks or Zoho Books
• Experience with React or light front-end work for small internal tools.
