Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Consultant in its Finance Transformation practice to help CFOs modernize the finance factory and shape the future of finance organizations. You will join teams delivering strategy, data-driven insights, and delivery transformation across people, process, data, and technology.

You will engage with client executives, design roadmaps, and mentor new team members while developing NextGen capabilities including GenAI within Finance Labs.

Qualifications

• MBA / MS / CA from a leading school in India or abroad.
• 1-3 years of hands-on relevant experience post MBA.
• 2-4 years of hands-on relevant experience post MS / CA.

Finance Transformation

Join our Finance Transformation practice to help Deloitte client service teams define and execute Finance and Global Business Services agendas and strategies. You will work with world-class teams and insights, helping support delivery in challenging environments, market uncertainty, technology development, and regulatory considerations to help unlock value. Your work may span strategy, operations, process design, and technology as we collaborate with teams to enable transforming finance.

Position Summary

Level: Consultant

At Deloitte FT, Finance Strategy team, you will

• Advise CFOs to unlock enterprise value, modernize the finance factory and analyze capital
• Help develop aspirations for the client’s Finance organization, identify gaps that need addressing, the digital starting point, and help define the vision for future organization
• Help Advise client executives to build next gen capabilities and kickstart digital transformation program
• Help Assess client’s current state maturity, develop vision/strategy, compare with industry leading benchmarks to identify areas of opportunities, develop business case and design roadmap for execution
• Leverage your analytical skills to process client data to develop insights and recommendations
• Help client identify and prioritize where and when to invest in the finance’s infrastructure assets to create organizational value and drive business performance
• Help conduct clientinterviews,participateinworkshopsandtrainingsessions,andpresentrecommendations to client stakeholders
• Help delivery of Deloitte Finance Labs, to help clients design their short term and long term vision for Finance function
• Liaison with certain client stakeholders to develop quality outputs, deliverables and artifacts
• Help Design and develop tools, NextGen capabilities (including GenAI) and Delivery Transformation assets and leverage them to help deliver client engagements in improved margins.
• Analyze and interpret project data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations

Our ‘Finance Strategy’ offering works as a trusted advisor to CFOs, COOs, CIOs, and key executives. We help advise, implement, and deliver as-a-service recommendations, helping our clients develop strategies and capabilities to guide enterprise-wide decision-making, elevate the finance function with digital capabilities and help create impact within their organization.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with strong communication skills, ability to work with teams, navigate steep learning curve, and demonstrate management consulting skills to be part of the Finance Strategy offering.

PreferredExperience:

• Hands‑onexperience as any of the following:
  • Worked at the CFOorganizations at leading multinationals and help develop vision and strategy for the Finance organization
  • Supported Finance transformation projects across people, process, data and technology
  • Conducted current state maturity and benchmarking of finance function and developed initiatives and roadmap for transformation
  • Supported strategy design and execution of large-scale transformation projects
  • Supported ERP Finance Transformation primarily focusing on current state assessment, visioning, vendor landscape assessment and vendor selection, fit gap analysis, implementation roadmap etc.
• Fair understanding of the finance processes and strategies to drive strategic improvements in areas of Order-to-Cash,Record-to-Report,Procure-to-Pay,Financial Planning & Analysis, etc.
• Understanding of operating model transformations and navigating through the end-to-end design and implementation journey
• Analytical and Hypothesis driven problem-solving approach, processandoperationsanalysis,processing,andanalysisoflargefinancialand non-financialdata sets
• Exposuretoworkinginnon-IndiaGeographies(preferablytheUS)and/orinteractingwithGlobalstakeholders
• Functional understanding of financialapplications/toolssuchasOracle,Hyperion,SAP, Anaplan,etc. ispreferable and latest digital technologies such as Robotic Automation, GenAI, Predictive Analytics etc. and their applications in business and Finance
• Project management experience (either leading or supporting)
