YAAS! is seeking a finance content writer who can script engaging short-form material for platforms like Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn. The role involves researching markets, understanding creators, and building channels from zero to viral.

You’ll track trends, verify data from SEBI, NSE/BSE, and filings, craft compelling hooks, and drive growth with strong CTAs. This role blends finance expertise with creative storytelling in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Portfolio of published video content—scripts you've written or videos you've worked on (finance content preferred).
• Deep understanding of stock markets, trading (intraday, F&O, options), IPOs, and market analysis.
• Awareness of the finance creator landscape and what content performs.
• Strong scriptwriting ability specifically for short-form content (Reels, Shorts, LinkedIn videos).

We've worked with top brands like Zepto, Zerodha, Cleartrip, GoKwik, Vodafone-Idea, and Zoho. Now, we're looking for someone who can script finance content that cuts through the noise - someone who understands markets, knows what creators are doing, and can build channels from zero to viral.

The Role Overview:

You know there's a problem. Finance content on the internet is either clickbait or technical deep-dives that lose people in the first 15 seconds.

We're building finance content channels from scratch and we need someone who understands both finance and wants to make interesting content around it.

What You'll Do:

Research and script-write short-form finance content

• Track and analyse what top finance creators. Study hooks, content formats, and content strategies
• Stay updated on stock markets, trading, IPOs, F&O activity, sectoral movements, and policy changes
• Research and verify data from SEBI, NSE/BSE, company filings, and credible financial sources
• Identify trending topics, gap areas, and content opportunities in the finance creator ecosystem

Scriptwriting & Content Creation

• Write scripts for short-form finance content across Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn
• Craft hooks that stop the scroll
• Write compelling CTAs that drive channel growth and audience retention

Channel Building & Strategy

• Build finance content channels from scratch on platforms like Youtube and Instagram
• Understand platform algorithms and what makes finance content perform
• Experiment with formats and iterate based on data
• Adapt content strategy based on market cycles, audience behaviour, and performance metrics

Must Haves:

• Portfolio of published video content — show us scripts you've written or videos you've worked on (finance content strongly preferred)
• Deep understanding of stock markets, trading (intraday, F&O, options), IPOs, and market analysis
• Awareness of the finance creator landscape and what content performs
• Strong scriptwriting ability specifically for short-form content (Reels, Shorts, LinkedIn videos)
• Understanding of hooks, CTAs, content formats, and platform mechanics
• Proficiency with research, fact-checking, and using AI/LLM tools to scale output and train writing models
• High output capacity. You should be comfortable scripting multiple short-form videos per day
• Experience or strong interest in building content channels from zero

Nice to Have:

• Background in finance, trading, CA, CFA, MBA Finance, or financial journalism
• Active trading experience (equity, F&O, commodities)
• Personal finance content channel or portfolio of published work
• Experience with YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, LinkedIn video strategy
• Knowledge of video production workflows and how scripts translate to final edits
• Understanding of SEBI regulations and compliance in finance content

What We're Not Looking For:

• Generic "5 stocks to buy" thinking without depth
• Inability to verify data or cite sources properly
• Resistance to learning AI tools or adapting to new workflows
• Slow output or inability to manage multiple content timelines
• Lack of awareness of what's happening in the finance creator space
