Role: Finance Process AI Agent Developer – Agentic AI

We are hiring a hands‑on builder with 2‑3 years experience in Finance BPO + AI automation. You will take existing SOPs in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, GL, Reconciliations, and Management Reporting and convert them into autonomous AI agents using LLMs, Python, and enterprise tools.

Core Mission: Agentisize Finance Processes

Map → Agentize: Study current F&A SOPs, identify decision points, and rebuild them as autonomous agents using LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, or Azure AI Agent Service

Tool-Using Agents: Give agents access to SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, SQL, and internal knowledge bases via RAG. Agents should read invoices, post entries, send reminders, reconcile, and elevate exceptions only

Month‑End Close Agents: Build agents that auto‑pull TBs, run flux analysis, draft variance commentary, prepare JE suggestions, and circulate close packets

Exception Handling: Design human‑in‑loop workflows where agents do 80% and flag 20% with context + recommendation to analysts

Audit & Compliance: Ensure every agent action is logged. Build guardrails for SOX, GAAP, and client policy adherence. No black-box decisions

Key Responsibilities

Process Mining + Redesign: Run workshops with finance SMEs, document as‑is, design to‑be with agents. Target: 40%+ cycle time reduction

Agent Development: Build production agents in Python. Implement planning, memory, tool‑calling, reflection, and error‑recovery patterns

RAG for Finance: Build knowledge agents over client SOPs, policy docs, and chart‑of‑accounts so agents answer “why” and cite sources

Data + ERP Integration: Connect agents to data sources – SQL, APIs, RPA bots, Excel, email. Handle semi‑structured data like invoices, bank statements, remittance advice

Evaluation & Monitoring: Create eval datasets for each agent. Track accuracy, hallucination rate, auto‑resolution %, cost per transaction, and escalations. Own uptime

Change Management: Train finance teams to work with agents. Write clear “Agent Runbooks” so ops can monitor and override

Governance: Partner with Risk/Compliance to get agent sign‑off. Maintain model/agent inventory and versioning

Must-Have Skills & Experience

2‑3 years total with 1+ years in Finance BPO/KPO – AP, AR, R2R, FP&A, or Reconciliations. You understand debits, credits, aging, and close calendars

2+ years building AI agents or advanced LLM apps. Shipped at least 1 agent/automation using LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, LlamaIndex, or Azure AI Agent

Python: Strong in Pandas, APIs, async, error handling. Comfortable with function calling + structured outputs

LLMs + RAG: Hands‑on with GPT‑4o, Claude, Gemini, or Azure OpenAI. Built RAG over PDFs/Excel/SOPs using Azure AI Search, Pinecone, or similar

SQL + Excel: Agents will live in this world. Advanced Excel, Power Query. Can write and debug SQL

ERP Exposure: Worked with SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or QuickBooks as a user or via API/RPA. Understand how to post, extract, and validate

Finance Acumen: Can read an invoice, TB, bank rec, and flux report. Know why a JE fails and what “unapplied cash” means

Builder Mindset: You’ve taken a 20‑step manual process and made it 3‑clicks or 0‑clicks before

Nice to Have

RPA Tools: UiPath, Power Automate, Automation Anywhere – to let agents trigger bots or vice‑versa

Agent Ops: LangSmith, PromptLayer, Arize, or Azure AI Studio for tracing/debugging/evals

Multi‑Agent: Built researcher + doer + reviewer agent teams
