Job summary

ixigo is seeking a Senior Finance Executive to join the finance team, focusing on hotel partner accounts, reconciliations, and billing. You will manage daily operations and work with partners in the hospitality sector.

The role requires hotel industry knowledge, strong Excel skills, and experience with Tally or Zoho Books. You will report to the finance leadership and help ensure accuracy and timely payments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or BBA (Finance) required.
• 3–6 years of hands-on accounting/finance experience in hotel/travel-tech/hospitality.
• Strong hotel accounting knowledge including room tariffs, commissions, GST slabs, and ledgers.
• Proficient in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and familiar with accounting software like Tally or Zoho Books.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with hotel partners.

Responsibilities

• Perform hotel partner reconciliations of bookings, commissions, and payouts.
• Manage end-to-end billing, invoicing, and vendor payouts for hotel partners.
• Resolve billing disputes and ledger discrepancies with partners.
• Prepare GST and TDS data for monthly compliance.
• Support weekly cash flow tracking and expense reporting.
• Handle three-way reconciliation for payment gateways and bank reports.

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Senior Finance Executive to join our growing finance team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing our day-to-day financial operations, with a specific focus on hotel partner accounts, reconciliations, and billing.

Since our core operations revolve around the hospitality ecosystem, prior experience or deep domain knowledge of the hotel/hospitality industry is mandatory for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

Partner Reconciliations: Conduct daily and weekly reconciliations of hotel partner bookings, commissions, and payouts against internal operational data.

Accounts Receivable & Payable: Manage the end-to-end billing cycle for hotel partners, ensuring accurate invoice generation and timely processing of vendor payouts.

Discrepancy Resolution: Act as the primary finance point of contact for hotel partners to resolve billing disputes, missing booking payouts, or ledger mismatches.

Data Compilation: Assist the senior finance team in compiling monthly data for GST and TDS compliance specific to the hospitality sector.

Financial Reporting: Maintain clean, error-free financial trackers and assist in preparing weekly cash flow and expense reports.

Payment gateway - Handle the three-way reconciliation of payment gateways, internal reports with banks credits

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com), BBA (Finance), or an equivalent degree.

Domain Experience: 3to 6years of hands-on accounting/finance experience strictly within the hotel, travel-tech, or hospitality sector.

Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of hotel accounting fundamentals, including room night tariffs, commissions, hospitality GST slabs, and partner ledger structures.

Technical Skills: High proficiency in MS Excel (must be comfortable with VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and data sorting) and experience using accounting software like Tally or Zoho Books.

Soft Skills: Strong communication and negotiation skills to confidently interact with hotel property managers and internal operations teams.

It is to be notedthat the selected candidate will work on Brevistay payroll, whilst being deputed with ixigo.
