Job summary

VMax, a Coimbatore-based holistic health and wellness organization, is seeking a qualified Finance Manager to oversee budgeting, planning, forecasting, analysis, reporting, taxation, and compliance. You will guide management with financial insights, conduct audits, and ensure statutory compliance for our growing business.

Key duties include strengthening financial controls, generating monthly MIS with P&L and variance analysis, supporting month-end close, evaluating deals, and optimizing costs

Qualifications

• CA Inter or CA Qualified with minimum 1+ years of experience.
• Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting is preferred.
• Professional certifications (CFA, CPA, CMA) are a plus.
• Experience in financial leadership roles in B2C operations (Health & Wellness preferred).
• Exposure to digital payment solutions and gateways.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and fund accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Financial Controls & Planning: Health check of financials, cash flow optimization, fraud prevention.
• MIS: Generate and review monthly MIS reports (P&L, variance analysis, forecasts).
• Statutory & Tax Compliance: Oversee accounts finalization in ERP; close books; tax returns.
• Product & Operational Costing: Provide cost estimates for new programs and analyze profitability and cost reduction opportunities.

About the Job:

We are looking for a qualified Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of the company, including budgeting, planning, forecasting, analysis, reporting, taxation, and compliance. The role involves providing financial guidance to management, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Controls & Planning:

  • Health check of financials, cash flow optimization, fraud prevention

  • Resource utilization analysis (monthly)

  • Internal audits (quarterly)

  • Compliance with laws and regulations

  • Reporting audit findings with recommendations

• Management Information System (MIS):

  • Generate and review monthly MIS reports (P&L, variance analysis, forecasts)

  • Present insights to CEO and senior management

  • Collaborate with accounting teams for accurate month-end close

  • Conduct commercial evaluations of deals and opportunities

• Statutory & Tax Compliance:

  • Oversee accounts finalization in ERP

  • Close books (journal entries, accruals, cutoff testing)

  • Accounts reconciliation (AR, AP, Payroll, Tax returns, payments)

• Product & Operational Costing:

  • Provide cost estimates for new programs and solutions

  • Evaluate product/sales mix for profitability

  • Analyze costs of existing vs. new programs for cost reduction opportunities

Qualifications:

• CA Inter or CA Qualified with minimum 1+ years of experience
